In case you need a taxi in Armenia, I strongly recomend AEROTAXI. It is the best taxi service I found in Armenia.
Very friendly, polite and professional service from the moment I called to book until the moment I was dropped at my destination.
Their vehicle fleet is new. They hire educated drivers only. Anyone who worked previously as a taxi driver is not accepted. They have a policy to arrive half an hour before appointment time etc.etc.etc.
Their price @200 Dram per kilometer (for short trips) is slightly higher than the other taxi companies, but it is well worth it. For long trips (such as a trip to Sevan or Karabagh) they have special discounted fares.
I just got to Artsakh a couple hours ago. What a goooorgeous drive! Not even upset about getting rained on.
DDDDDDD Besides Stepanakert where you're probably staying, make sure to go to Vank village and Gandzasar! I recommend the ghost town of Agdam too and if you do go there, climb the mosque's minaret. Other nice places are Tigranakert ruins and Shushi. Shushi's hills are breathtaking, ask someone to give you a nice tour. Mingle with the local Artsakhtsis and ask them questions, they're great people
