Looks like he is one of those "I can be an expert within a week" persons. Just look at the thread he is linking to. First post made on 27th October 2006 - "I don't know the history of Turkey very well". Less than a week later he deems himself wise enough to visit specialist sites on the subject and lecture.

You are very biased. So, if I don't agree with you (whoever you are), then I am "lecturing?" That's all you've said here. Way to attack the person and not discuss the subject.

Or are there other motives? He joined that forum on 10th July this year - and has been making posts there at an average of 19 a day. Either he is not a real person (like that supposed Iranian "oslonor" who was posting everywhere a couple of months ago and was obviously just some cia agent-provocateur) or he has too much free time on his hands and thinks he has the knowledge to comment on anything.

I don't see how I could have joined "that forum" on July 10th as it was not started until October, but I guess anything is possible when you are making things up. lol

I don't think you know enough about the subject yet to have a constructive discussion. I haven't finished reading it yet - but all you seem to have done on that other forum is give a few Turkish fascists the opportunity to post their same old crap, and because you don't know the subject in depth you are not able to properly counter their posts.

And your whole purpose here on this thread seems to have no purpose. The Armenian genocide was described as a holocaust right from the very outset. Unless you are of the "Holocaust (c)Jewish lobby" persuasion, there should be no subject to discuss if you really knew the subject. Before posting here you should have researched the actual meaning and usage of the word "holocaust".

And, btw, the content of one of the texts you have quoted on that forum ("The Middle East: a History" by William Ochsenwald and Sydney Nettleton Fisher) could certainly be classed as genocide denialist propaganda.

It seems to me that the only value in your posts on that forum is that they show that the Turkish propaganda is so obviously ludicrously false that a intelligent non-expert like yourself can easily see through them.
May I suggest that you should be thinking along the lines of what that makes you think about Turks as a people and Turkey as a country. And you should be expressing that on that forum - because I think the only way most of these neofascist Turks will cease their lies is for them to realise that they are making an embarrasement of themselves.

I've just finished reading the thread on that forum. In the end, I don't see any point to it, except that is shows how even someone like you who knows next to nothing about the subject still cannot be fooled by the Turkish propaganda

How can you "seriously" discuss an issue for which you have no foundation for understanding...particualrly when you reject a "serious" book recommendation made to you that directly addresses your initial question? Come now - who is being "serious" here? If this is the best you can do I would suggest finishing grade school first before claiming to have earned a diploma.
