Armenian & African-American Communities : An imperceptable genocidal link ?

It is true, African American are different from West Indies people. As Mexicans are different from Cubans or Portoricans.

Still there are some historican commun legacies : Blacks in the New World are descendents of slaves, as Armenians, Jews, Cambodians and Rwandis are descendents of genocides survivors.

Last february I was in Atlanta and I visited the Martin Luther King Center. It was very moving. After this visit I created this page :

On the one hand he recognized the Armenian Genocide even when he was in Azerbaijan and heckled by the Azeri press...on the other hand, it wouldn't surprise me if he steers away from the issue because he is running for the presidency and would probably let us down anyway (If he becomes Pres., the State Dept. will make sure he never admits the Genocide)

Obama is a young politician. He is a son of an African emigrant from Kenya. I do not feel him as an African American as his wife is totaly. Obama will behave as a mere politician. We are used to that.

- the Africans.

What is his knowledge on Armenians ? on Turks ? on the Genocide ? on STATE DENIAL ?

Is he short-sighted or a mere politician ?

Is he really pro-Turk ? Why "virulently" ? Did he expressed such thoughts in speeches or writings ?

He seems to be very religious, quoting Mathew from the Gospels. Is it sincere or just fake ?

Although Obama recognized the Armenian genocide and told about the Turkish governments constant denial of the Armenian genocide in the video, I must say that it was nearly 6 months ago since Obama was asked in the video you posted if he would cosponsor the Armenian genocide resolution - S.Res.106 and he still hasn`t done that.He said that because he is a member of the Foreign Relations Committe that they are more sensitive to the diplomatic issues and that the Armenian genocide has become a sore spot diplomatically.But how many more months do we have to wait before Obama actually will accept to cosponsor the resolution?Two other Presidental candidates are already cosponsors of the resolution:Chris Dodd and Hillary Clinton.
