The situation of contemporary Muslim world is first due to a century long colonization and occupation. Destruction of their social stucture and killing of their intellectuals by those occupiers.
The second is when Muslims were in their golden ages they had the mistake of arrogancy towards European achivements, and ignoring them
the third is the indentity crisis, or dual conflicting identity that they have developed in last 2 centuries.

The result is the current situation. If you as civilization fall into same faults, same will happen to you too. If you still do not see the signals yet, I cant do anything for you. Arrogancy is the worst trap to fall into for a civilzation.

I would say to you first look at the mirror, critisize your own self and if you cant find anything wrong with yourself then critisize others ok?

The head of the Islamic COnference, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu(who is Turkish) and Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul both urged Sudan to stop the ethnic cleansing policy and condemned those actions.

But in mean time I dont recall any Armenian group or the lobby condemning Serbian Fasists and their Genocidal policies towards Albanians and Bosnians.

1- Yes In Darfur, the Islamic Government is backing Islamic Rebels(Janjuid) that systematically are cleansing Nomadic Christian or Non-Moslems from southern Sudan. They have already committed over 400’000 man, woman, child Genocide under the Flag of Islam. Ironically, these are their own countrymen who were born in Sudan, but were born non-Moslem.

You brought up Hitler and associated with Christianity, rendering your Intellectual Limitation Offensive. We put Hitler’s Associates on trial in Nuremburg if they did not dye during the war. Furthermore, Germany fully acknowledged it’s wrongs against Jews and paid Reparation to Jews. Perhaps, you should have the balls of a German and acknowledge Turkish Genocide of Armenians and as for Reparations, Turky can “ Sik-De”!

Japan was defeated that much is true, but you must see that Japan is a nation without religion, sects which helps them to unify easily, besides as Turq and Turanist correctly point out intellectuals of that country has not been taken out by foreign forces. The formation of middle-eastern social culture is consisted of 3 religions, nations, thousand sects and probably all kind of heretic beliefs which makes it exteremly hard to find a common path to unify it to show a will of progress. Though Turkey slowly builds up its momentum, such events take time since culture of Democracy was not invented but inherited from Europe by Turkey. These are not excuses but the reasons, without comprehending the reasons you can not come up with a complete solution. Under the name of Islam, Christanity or Jewishness some of the worst crimes have been commited, religion for an individual may be illimunation but for people as a whole it is ophium. That is the problem in Sudan for example, under the divine will's protection people will commit any kind of crime. As to education issue, people of middle-east's population is growing way too fast out of the fear that their culture will be wiped out(thus their nation) by western way of living and out of this stupid fear they practice old traditions, for example not sending girls in school and marrying them in young age(12-16). An uneducated mother's child probably will also be uneducated. This loop of middle-east must be broken. Though Islam does not preach violence, discrimination against women, the traditions of middle-east sees women as a low life form which should be the servants of men. Taking 4 woman as your wife in Quran is adviced in war-times when population of men fall. But idiots who can not show the character to live with one person through out their lives abuse this advice.
