Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

I think 1.5 woud not have any problem with that right 1.5?

and Tatoul I know will agree to right?

That way both sides could prove to us that their main motivation for being here is not to engage in personal attacks to prove their points.
First of all, show us when and where "I" initiated any personal attacks on him? You and everyone else knows damned well that he is always the one who initiates the personal attacks and the insults and namecalling, so don't give me this "both sides" thing because you sound just like when McCarthy says that turks and Armenians killed eachother so they're both at fault and it would be unfair to just blame one side.

I have always ignored 1.5 anyway, but it's him who always comes to me because he just can't stay away. Some of us know this guy very well, but you don't know him at all. Just look at how many times he said he wasn't going to waste his time and such but he just can't stay away and mind his own business. Look at how many times he sticks his nose in and tells others not to discuss anything with us, when it's really none of his business what two Armenians talk about. No, he has to have everyone play his game, his way or he's going to spoil it for everyone. He's not happy just playing his little games and leaving other people alone. I'll bet you that he can't ignore me and that includes writing Hate this Nazi that kinda crap in other threads and PMing the xxxx out of the moderators and other members telling them his filthy lies in secret. As far as I'm concerned, this guy has no business in this or any other Armenian forum because all he does is cause disunity, or at least tries to.

Let him stay away, mind his own business and stop his xxxxxin and moaning if he can. I know he can't because it would kill him to do so.

Yea whatever. Look, I think this is getting a little too far off the actual issue, which was jewish/israeli denials and how to stop it. You think your way is the right way and I think my way is the right way. However, unlike you and some others, I'm not telling you that you have to do it my way or my way is the only way it should be done and everyone has to do it my way or no way at all. You can do it any way you like regardless of how wrong it might seem to me as long as you think that it's the right way for you, but don't tell me I have to do it your way, because it doesn't work for me.

I'm I getting through to you on this? Do you understand what I mean when I say you do it your way and I'll do it my way and do you have a problem with that?

BTW, if you answer with something like, "You're hurting the cause by..." or something to that effect, I can say exactly the same thing about your methods and we can argue about that even though I won't be holding my breath for you to change your mind and I certainly hope that you don't hold yours waiting for me to change mine.

Anyway, I think it's an even better idea to do it both ways simultaniously as you can tell the jews you're trying to support us that some Armenians are getting pretty fkng mad because of all the denials of the jewish lobbies and israel. That way you can point out their denials or mention it or bring it to their attention while you don't look like you're directly making an accusation or being confrontational etc. If you guys want to plkay games, don't be playing them with us, play the games with the jews and try to advance our cause.

You have said that you don't want any land back or reperations, so mind your own business as it doesn't concern you.

            • Listen the only part of this thats similar to playing a game is competing for alliances and to do that one cannot be completely rigid .Since The A.G.is an undeniable,uncontastible.non-negotiable fact we dont have to play a game like good cop bad cop ,everythings on the table for everyone to see and make their own judjement anyway.

We have to advocate with what part is most effective in influencing allies not what makes us feel good or what is easy to understand for us only.
Do what works for you.You are neither hurting or helping , each one of us has a potential to contribute in a positive way as long as we allow ourselves to grow.

It makes sense? Really? No kidding! If you take the time to read what I write, Instead of blindly following others and calling people names, you just might see that everything I write makes sense.

What we should do? I don't care what you do, but I know what I'm going to do. I'm going to give them a taste of their own poison and then some until they stop.

You dont want their support and then when I called you on it you said you didnt mean it what you meant was you want it but ut wasnt worth the trouble (The bricks analogy) and now your back to you dont want their alliance.Theres an Armenian analogy or idiom of sorts that goes something like "What I dont want that just put it in my side pocket"
                  LOL

                    October 17 2002, 3:48 AM

I think one of our goals should include fighting such xxxx like that. I also went to what was an Armenian site the other day and there was one page that site that continiously compared us to the jews and I wanted to puke. Here it is, I just found it in my saved URLs and whatdayaknow!

It's not the same site as http://www.cilicia.com

I had never seen a link or anything to the other site http://www.cilicia.com/Oldmistakes.htm from http://www.cilicia.com, and I had never seen it before and when I came accross it recently, I didn't pay much attention to the URL because I was buisy looking for other things, however, I did notice they had too much crying for the jews going on and it really pissed me off that they put work into the holohoax industry while the jews deny the Armenian Genocide. I have never been to a jew site that has such extensive coverage of the Armenian Genocide. This is quite sickening and maybe we can do something about it! And I don't mean just one or two e-mails here and there. We're not really ready or organized for such action YET, but we will be! Even if we have to use force!

From there they have a link to this site and it's ONLY about jews, everything is about the poor poor jews. You would think that they would at least have a link back, lrt alone something about the Armenian Genocide G-d forbid, but they don't have a fkn thing that I saw. I'ts all about them and they have a few links to Russian stuff.

                    • Here is also what I first posted to AF/ISA/Joobian/Tatoul etc

I would hope my message here is most clear -

                      Message to ISA

If all you did was present your idea of such a "conspiracy" and when we disagreed (or laughed at you) you accepted such realizing that not everyone (or even most) are going to agree with such projections etc then that would be OK. But as soon as any disagree or say - no we can't support your - in our opinion - extremism - you begin calling everyone a traitor & a filfthy this, dirty that & worse - well - that is not acceptable. Regardless of what you say - you are in the wrong - not us. And claiming that what you are saying is just idle conspiracy speculation etc glosses over your very clear message of hate (your denials notwithstanding) and falls into the (blind and ultimately unsupportable) anti-Semitic trap that certain folks (mostly who claim to be "good" Christians) have fallen into for hundreds of years. While you may have an isolated point or two that actually can be taken seriously - overall your extreme hatred (and lack of real knowledge & insight) are what come through most clearly. Why is it that everywhere you go you only encounter "traitors" and "Jew lovers" etc? Can’t you understand that it is the people who hate (like you) who are the ones that commit the (genocidal etc) crimes against others and who do the terrible things that you are so (apparently) outraged over - not the “Turks” or the “Jews” or any particular racial group of people. That you fail to understand this is your first failing – and is a major one (have you learned nothing as an Armenian?). Hate is the crime – regardless of the source – and no one ethnicity or people is all bad or can be indiscriminately blamed. (your second failing). (And you comically oversimplify). Your third failing is your vulgarity – pure and simple. So please – take your “crusade” and your “inquisition” elsewhere. I don’t think you will find any converts here.
