I heard that Kurds have been living there for years.I think East(mesopotamia)is Kurds' Motherlands.I know that there hasn't been any kurdish state there.It is because of kurds' diversity in themselves.you know kurds are still feudalic.And it is Kurd's most important backward.If kurds unify ,I know that they will build a big state there.

Both Kurds and Armenians have been living in similar areas for such a long time, the Kurds used to be Christian before they became Muslim. The Kurds and Armenians have been neighbours a long time before the Turks came. You have to understand that culture and cultural influence plays a role everywhere. For example many Assyrians and Kurds who where living amongst the Armenians eventually married with the Armenians, became members of Armenian churches, spoke Armenian as it was the langauge you needed to know to become part of the community. Its little things like this. The same definately happened for the Greeks especially due to Hellenic culture being strong particularly after Alexander the Greats victories. This is why the smaller cultures like Hittites and Lydians just became people we today read in history books. This happened with the Kurds whom today have many Armenian survivors of the Genocide in their communities because when you think about it the Armenians where deported though Kurdish areas many ended up in northern Iraq and the north east of Syria is a Kurdish populated area so some surivivors would have married into Kurdish families and would now be Kurds.

The Turks due to their empire spread their language and other aspects of culture at a more rapid rate than even Hellenic culture. Its just a shame that some radical people (who werent even from central asia) had a plan to kill off the remaining non-Turks. Eventually Turkey will have to admit their past if not theres also the Kurdish problem that wont go away and cant be solved with genocide.

I know there are a lot of armenian states there.But I also know armenians usually lived under control of other nations like ottomans,persians....right?
