Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

You mean to tell me, the only vocal ones in this site are Turks and Jews?

Back to the topic of this thread: This "David" character had a good point. Some Armenians demand land and money reparations from Turks, how could we then expect them (the Turks) to come to terms with the Genocide? If I were a Turk I would never trust Armenian intentions. Also, Israel needs Turkey very badly. How can we expect Israel to support us? These are somethings that have always concerned me. Politics suck.

I don't think that's what he meant... Don't take it to the extreme. No, the Iran/Israel relationship isn't a MIRROR image of the Armenian/Turk relationship, and I don't think that's what Kharpert sought to assert.

I believe he was saying the sour relationships (for different reasons) between Iran/Israel and Armenia/Turkey are both very difficult to reconcile, and that if David thinks it's so easy to reconcile MAJOR CONFLICTS why doesn't Israel reconcile it's own MAJOR CONFLICT...

(Kharpert, forgive and correct me if I am wrong)

P.S. If you're going to accuse Kharpert of being a hypocrite, please defend your statement with some examples... that's quite an accusation to make against someone who has been a valued member of this forum for so long, without backing it up with some evidence.

The only thing you have done that you are trying to qualify as "against racism", was to try to keep Armenians from finding out certain information which wasn't racism at all but you are still trying to misconstrue as racism.
If you came to AG.com to conspiracy theorize about a Jew/Donme/Zionist conspiracy w/ respect to the AG, you came to the wrong forum. Read the rules... Go find a forum that DOES allow it, if you can't there's probably a reason, if you can - stay there, but one things for sure, you won't be permitted to do it here...

              • Heat,

Neither I, nor anyone else on this forum is interested in your review of my behavior, past or present.

My defense, as I so called it, was against Holocaust denial, which became such a stain on this forum that a rule was made against it. I am curious to know, however, how you got news of my stance when you joined only last month.

To clarify my point with David-X, whom I imagine the both of you misinterpreted, the relationship between Israel and Iran is as antagonistic as that between Turkey and Armenia. David-X continually made nonsensical terms of reconcilliation while completely disregarding the reality and history of the situation. He was rambling on and on as if the past century was nothing but tea and cakes for Armenians. When I finally pressed him with a vivid example, he realized he was defeated and thought it was funny to call me "Hitler". Thankfully Hovik understood my post better.

                • if im not mistaken, the iran/israel statement was to show to david that what he's asking for is israel to embrace iran, so i dont know where all the other fuss came from.

I know that's not what he meant, but he might as well have since he sees the two situations similar enough to compare, which is what I found outragious. Even what you just wrote about it not being a MIRROR image, implies that it's similar, when in fact they are worlds appart and there are no similarities of any kind whatsoever between the two cases.

What you just wrote here isn't any better. You compare them as being "sour relationships". Would you dare call the jewish holocaust a mere "sour relationship" between Germany and jews? Anyway, if that's what he meant, then that's what he should have written and not compared an unpunished crime of genocide to bickering between Iran and israel.

Or how about if I compared Germany's denials of the jewish genocide (if it were actual the case where Germany denied it as turkey does) as a "sour relationiship" between Germany and israel like that between the US and Cuba for instance? Yea I'm sure everyone would find that not exactly a MIRROR, but close enough for comparison.

If Dadrian isn't above criticism, then Kharpert most certainly isn't either.

P.S. If you're going to accuse Kharpert of being a hypocrite, please defend your statement with some examples... that's quite an accusation to make against someone who has been a valued member of this forum for so long, without backing it up with some evidence.
And if I do, what then? Will you spank him for being a hypocrite or ban me for pointing it out and backing it up with evidence? There is plenty of evidence of not only hypocracy of certain individuals, but also of blatant lies and false accusations which can be found all over this forum, which you choose to ignore because to you, they are "valued members" and beyond reproach or criticizm.
