Lots of historical buildings and even most famous historical buildings inIstanbul have been robbed and victimized by those robbers. Our guilt is not to keeping them insafety.

I personally dont think that symbols or other stuff are purposely victimized by Turkish officials, it is a general Armenian thought about Turks. I think the things that happened to Turkish heritage is happening to Armenian heritage. I can easily find similiar examples from very famous Turkish historical buildings...

Cosmos, some of these churches and monastaries are over 1000 years old. How is it that they were strong enough to stand the test of time for 1000 years and then after the Genocide, they all of sudden crumble or disappear altogether? This is not just a case of lack of care. Some of these properties were obviously dismantled and intentionally destroyed. How can you ignore that?

Before all, I want to explain something: I ‘m not a Turk racially in the whole but a citizen and live here since I was born. No Armenian in this forum have knowledges about Turkey and Turks as much as I have. Besides, estimated 70-80% people in Turkey also are not from Turk origin. (central Asia). Even if some of them are from Turk origin, almost all of them are mixed with the other races. In fact, there was not a original race called Turk in the past. The use of this word was started by some Turkists such as Ziya Gokalp or someone elses. The exact use of the word of Turk became after the foundation of Turkish Republic. So, the racist term of ‘’Gorilla’’ can not describe and contain any typicality from Turkey.

As for historical monuments. I am giving an example now:

Maybe some of you know The Temple of Bergama (Pergamon). This temple was disassembled by the Germans and taken to the Berlin in the early times of 20th century. I am not talking about the other small historical things. It is a temple in question. But no one from the Ottoman Government took the care of that incident or didn’t make even an obstruction for that theft. If a government does this, what do you expect from the ordinary people? Not only Armenian monuments, also the monuments of the other cultures weren’t taken into the consideration and cared by Turks for tens of years. In the city where I live, there are small amount of historical Turkish houses left as well. That is, Turks didn’t care of even their monuments but only big ones. (mosques or palaces). A kind of the lack of mentality, not culturel genocide.

As for that Hellektor like people are the ones, whose brains are washed and who have been grown up with the hatred of Turks by the traumatic people or parents. I know some monuments were destroyed intentionally for they represent christianity. But not only Armenians's, also some churchces and monasteries of the other cultures were destroyed.

I had visited the Sumela Monastery (pontiac's) in 1989, near Trabzon. I saw some destructions there. It was obvious that that has been done for many years by some uneducated ordinary people for some simple reasons as a reaction to Christianity. There was no proof for a planned destruction. And I also saw many ruined historical mosques in different places in Turkey. An indifference about historical things. To show that as a culturel genocide is very exaggerated point of view nothing else.

Brain damage is incurable

In spite of there is nothing to be taken seriously in this thread, neverthless, I decided to waste my time for a reply. Moreover, there are just few words to say about this threat: It is completely a cheat and antagonism of Turks again.

These kind of performances can only provide ideas for some uneducated and stupid people (acute projection. H.) but not someone else and can not be introduced as a evidence of culturel genocide. Neither any Authority nor Historian accept it as a proof.

What was done here is to pick up such photos of ruined buildings, that is due to the lack of good care and the lack of money, and to show them as a culturel genocide. Despite of knowing that Turkey is not a developed country to spend money and did not have enough mentality in the past for protecting those buildings, to expect such a care from Turkey is nonsense. (Then give us back our land and get the hell out. H.) And what a pity there is no even a Turk to reply and no moderator to give a warning for such insulting craps. It doesn’t matter that this site is for Armenians or the others.

Yes, there are already some people being prepared to believe and applaud these kind of insults, especially from our neighour countries. Such people will always exist but it doesn’t matter.

I think you are partly right, but I think that you are also ignoring that the govt. of Turkey has intentionally covered up its Armenian past and has destroyed Armenians properties in doing so. You saw with your own eyes all of the mosques and sports clubs and other buildings that were originally Armenian built hundreds of years ago. I'm not completely against Turkey converting an Armenian church into a mosque if there are no Armenians left to use it, since they've all been killed or driven away. But why not mention somewhere that the building was originally built in ____ A.D. by the Armenians . . .? Furthermore, I think that you are ignoring the many pictures Hellektor posted, which show certain historical sites that were completely raised. Obviously, this was not the job of local townspeople, but of some concerted effort to eliminate the structure entirely? And why would that happen if not for the purpose of eliminating the trace of the people who originally built it? Why is there no mention of the Armenians in the historical sites at the ancient city of Ani; the city was built by Armenians and was Armenia's ancient capital. How can you bring tourists there without even mentioning that fact? Doesn't that make you suspicious? If not, then you must be an idiot!

Artsakh was treacherously annexed to the artificially inseminated bogus state, the fake "Azerbaijan" and Nakhijevan was also put under their hoofs in 1921, through a diabolical deal between the Bolsheviks and the Ottomans.

Fact: After the setting up of the scam, Mutalibov was toppled.

Fact: Heydar Aliev said of the scam: The bloodshed will do good to us. We shouldn't interfere in the course of events.

Fact: Recently, after 14 years, Mutalibov reaffirmed his view that it was the opposition who did it to topple him.
