Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

When did I say that the regular Army was equal to the chettes? In fact the Jew haters here have used a post I made in the past concerning the nobility (for pursueing these criminals) and non-involvement of some of the Turkish regular Army as ammunition against me. Many Turks - of all types acted nobly and sanely towards the Armenians - a great many more did not. Don't even try to twist my words TurQ or think that you can imagine my level of specific knowledge about what occured. Your casting doubt - in the true form of genocide denial - will not owrk on me - but only the unknowledgable and uniformed - though I know that is who you are attempting to reach - as your pathetic excuses, evasions and denials - and attempt to blame the victim - is all too transparent and all too typical of genocide denial.

Do you happen to know the approximate numbers of Special Organization personel in 1915? Think again before claiming that Turks could not have commited atrocities againt Armenians on a massive scale.

The cooraborated reports of ordinary Turks setting themselves upon defensless (and often near naked and starving) Armenians are too numerous too discount....unlike your myths of poisoned bread and fedeyie crimes of any significance (on a national or even regional scale) that you attempt to pass as justification for the barborous acts commited against the Armenian nation and against hundreds of thousands of totally innocent Armenian women and children...

The Armenian Genocide is considered to have started in April of 1915 (though in fact massacres of villages and arrests and murdering of notables had been occuring in the East since mid 1914 (and against Greeks of the Aegean areas since 1913)...by September of 1915 the German government (agents in Anatolia) was already reporting over 1 million Armenians had been killed - in 5 months time!

What is the word we used to describe such a thing?

Teshkilat-i Mahsusa(special organization) has various groups under it, it was first founded against the Balkan occupation, then the ones that are controlled by Bahattin shakir in particular was used for Armenian deportation.
It is believed that the total teskilat was around 30,000.

(EDITED by Turque: THe rest is deleted, there's no point of engaging those discussions)

I knew it! The entire Turkish race with their religion Islam wanted to kill all the infidels and ethnic minorities under what they percieved was their god given lands.

TurQ how do you know that none of your family were actively involved in the murder of Armenians, Assyrians, Bulgarians, Greeks, etc?

I only READ about McCarthy... who supposed to be the authour of THE BIBLE OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE DENIAL.
Now after I watched the "Discussion" .. I know for sure that McCarthy is a bag of hot air

As you'll see, HE & his little friend WERE DEVISTATED in the discussion, and I had a big laugh at the end, not because he couldn't even convince anyone... but when the host answered him if he have something to reply Akcam with (After Akcam finished his brief discussion of Turkish archival material, Turkish military tribunals, Teshkelati Mahsusa and everything) ... McCarthy DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO SAY, so he answered

"these are issues should be discussed by historians (BTW the host presented him as a Dr. in HISTORY = so-called historian himslef) that's why Turkish government offered a joint discussion to disscuss those issues ....."

It seems that even McCarthy himslef don't think that he is A REAL HISTORIAN to answer matters that should be answered by HISTORIANS, maybe he know that he's only a fraud

Here are the discussions ... in 3 parts vidos

Well you got paid idiots and unpaid ones like some we have here.
Theres a huge difference between discussion and argument all denialists wants to do is argue or pretend like theyre involved in a discussion until they find an opening which they turn the whole thing into an argument .
So again denial is an argument and can take no part in any discussions with Armenians.Unless its a forum about denialof Turks now that we can discuss.
"All truth passes through three stages:
              First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident."

Don't you find it interesting the fact that America didnt allow this discussion to be aired? I mean look at it this way, America is defending Turks...at least on the East Coast...

I hadn't seen it, thanks for posting that Maral. I thought it was very well done, but there were a few things I would have made a point to mention:

                    1. Armenians lived there thousands of years before Turks came, ransacked and pillaged the Armenian Ancestral Homeland.

                    2. I find it interesting that every time Turks bring up this fantasy of a civil war to take attention away from the Genocide, they say Moslems were killed too... but one has to ask this: what religion were the entirety of the Turkish military? Moslem right? So, of course moslems were killed, have they differentiated between civilians and military? Most of the Moslems killed were killed by Turkeys WW1 enemy Russia on the Eastern front...

Not only that, how many Arabs did the Turkish forces kill or Dersim Kurds? The Turks also wiped out a several Persian villages around Khoy (near Tabriz). How many Muslims died from typhus because of all the slaughtered Christians they just left on roadsides, near watersources, in wells, etc? How many Turkish soldiers did the Turks kill themselves when they slaughtered the local population that could have feed and clothed them? How many Turks did Enver kill by trying to invade Russian territory in the middle of the winter? How many deaths are the CUP responsible for when they decided to enter the a war they didn't have to at the behest of the Germans?
