In France we had a strong armenophil movment (1878-1923) : politicians, writers scientist expressed themselves against massacres organized in Turkey.
I am listing the artistic shows during these years which were presented to collect money for Armenian orphans and refugees :
Exemple : http://www.globalarmenianheritage-ad..._1916avril.htm
I am classifying the French artists according to specialities :
You can inform American musical associations about that or musical teachers in your children's highschoolls, etc., etc.

I have created a new page on Italian testimonies, articles in their press, Italian manifestations during the Hamidian massacres, etc, etc. It is in half French-half Italian [ http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en ] :
Tell your Italian neighbours, your Italian friends, etc...
Search the world's information, including webpages, images, videos and more. Google has many special features to help you find exactly what you're looking for.
It will be the fate of our Armenian People : to inform historical facts. It will become a second nature : as driving, writing, going to work, etc.

Here is a new article in Amenian : http://www.globalarmenianheritage-ad...e/tigrane1.htm
and in Russian : http://www.globalarmenianheritage-ad...c/0tigran1.htm
about Armenian King Tigrane the Great in European operas.
You can use Language Tool Page to translate Russian into English : http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en
You can notice that they were many Italian composers in the list. Please tell your Italian neighbours. Please inform Italian studies professors in Universities.
We Armenians are so close to Italians. I had the chance to go several times in Italy, it is so marvellous. I miss Italy. I have only been once in Armenia, but I can tell you, the Italian people (specially in the South) is like our Armenian people. And Culture and History everywhere ! You cannot imagine. Intchbess tchi sirel Idalia'n ?
Ariverdeci, ciao ! Lol ...with a Fench-Armenian accent. LOL.

Really ? Do I have to understand that this websurfer is in denial ? Maybe I am wrong, maybe my english is not so good to understand the thought of this (very) new registered member. Maybe it is a humouristic joke I don't understand... I am sorry.Originally posted by MczR View Postu cant possibly prove there was a genocide...because there's already not...
Anyway, I think it is better appropriate to spend our valuable time in informing African scholars or other persons about our history thanks to e-mailing. It is more efficient than to loose our time in arguing with an anonymous unclear or joking websurfer in a forum, even in our dear HyeClub Forum -which I really do appreciate and thank as a very useful brainstorming workshop.
Also, I would like to add that we must not ever forget that, among others, there are two consubtantial characteristics for a genocide : denial of facts and dishumanization during facts. Deniers cannot wipe them off. Genocide is not only revealed by historian committees.

Dear friends, this is very-very important for having allies among Africans.
In Europe we have more African immigrants than in the USA. But there are serious African Studies in the American Universities with high level professors, etc.
Search the world's information, including webpages, images, videos and more. Google has many special features to help you find exactly what you're looking for.

There are three important symbolic historiographical references or topics :
Google's service, offered free of charge, instantly translates words, phrases, and web pages between English and over 100 other languages.
-1/ Ethiopian-Armenian relations :
-2/ the changing of "The Ethiopian Ocean" (the ocean where the Blacks came from) which was in use till the XVII century in European Maps for the South Atlantic Ocean.
In the first Armenian Map printed in Amsterdam in 1695 it is written "Ethiopian Ocean" !
-3/ The Colonial Conference of Berlin (1884-85) : the colonial powers decided between themselves what African country to have, what to divide, what to joint, what to own, etc, etc. to the detriment of the Africans .
THE COLONIAL BERLIN CONFERENCE IS THE TREATY OF LAUSANNE FOR AFRICANS.
I remind this in the following page on the occasion of European Elections for next June 7. Some candidates exploit the fact that "we have State agreements" and all this fuss :
In the picture in the right, you can notice the Turkish diplomat. There is a research to do about this delegation in Googles.Books and what they said. Please, you'll tell the African scholars.
Best regards to all. Take care. Nil (Paris)

Re: Historical Relations With Non-Armenians > (Small?) Bridges For Genocide Recogniti
When you meet a French person, maybe he is not from Paris. Please ask him he is from which region, from which "departement" ?
Maybe he is from a town which is a sister city with one in the USA ?
From this page, I have created a page of a list of French departements with coats of arms and classified alphabetically :
Certainly he knows some of these towns very well -even he is not from them. Maybe he has friends who live there.
Maybe you know Americans who live there or who have French friends who live there : http://www.globalarmenianheritage-ad...e_usaparis.htm
It is possible to create such a chain (of Humanity, of human authenticity in Civil Society) facing State denial and Realpolitk : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Realpolitik
Little streams make big rivers. And with internet, it is possible.
Kind regards to all from Paris. Take care. Nil.
