Arda, believe it or not, I'm tired of having everyone riding in the wrong direction. Can we start something and finish it the way we intended? Bell might be saying a few things wrong but the truth is there is a lot mixed up in the Muslim culture. Blaming and reducing everyone won't help though, I completely agree but doubt that everything we were saying was reducing Islam.

Tell me what you need help with and I'll try to help Arda but let's stay on topic and this won't happen. This is the second/third time I'm trying to start something and the conversation goes somewhere else. Guys, please, this really shows we can't do anything together. We just talk in the air.

Sorry Steph , didn't mean it that way. I just wanted us to stay on track and not just see where the thread goes. In the end, we begin to talk about very different subjects and that's kinda what I didn't want. I sort of expected to have a Q&A session since many of us haven't really talked about the present Turkey and Armenia without bringing in the Genocide and all. Now the thread sort of got deeper into religion which really is a LONG conversation. I know how deep it can go, Steph Jan, and that's what I wanted to stop. Sorry if it seemed like I was acting like the leader here or something . I wanted us to make a plan and stick to it because this thread could be a great teacher for many Armenians and Turks, the way I imagined it. Many of us don't know each other very well when it comes to the present. I wanted this thread to sort of set an example you can say and allow other members to come in, ask questions, get answers, and learn about each other WITHOUT remembering the past and talking about the present. That's what I had in mind, sorry if I messed up.

That is my desire Lal but you don't understand, we can't start that battle in Anatolia. Many countries look up at America as a sort of leader, good or bad, and if the big guys set an example, many may follow. I don't care what Turkey think's or how weird they'll act after that. They already are, that's why. If America doesn't accept the Genocide, what do you think we should do? Enter Anatolia with banners and start a parade? You don't seem to understand how heavy the air is there. A war may even begin after the slightest step. We tried to help the Turks when their people were under the piles of rocks after the earthquake but no one allowed us in. So who is going to allow us into the "battle grounds"? Your not looking at the situation reasonably. Your hate towards America makes you look at their recognition of the Genocide in different ways.

Saco, don't think you messed up, I don't think that, but these discussions will really go where they go, perhaps longer and deeper than intended. Most members don't have a common language and English is the default used. Incredibly the standard is very high and many users must go to great lengths to contribute and also the different time zones we all live in, the different domestic obligations we all have means that these can spread over weeks or longer. Saco Jan, you've not messed up! Indeed, you've breathed a little fresh air into here.

well ,in our small worlds,it is difficult to be happy, unless you belong to the privilaged class of people.they decide for us. they can reach anything they want to. they have everything to be happy with.we, the other 90% just be happy by watching the privilaged ones.

in the bigger world,the emperor america chose a leader like mr bush for the last 8 years. so since america is the leader and most powerful country, bush is the most intelligent and most competent person of the world. we deserved him.

in our spritual worlds we follow the mentally ill guys from middle east, thousands years ago,who claimed that they talked to the creator of universe and gave us the receipie of to go to heaven.we made huge buildings, so that we can feel so small infront of the creator, we killed murdered for the creator, and we still do.
