You have obviously read the Turkish versions and made your own assumptions (as child like as they may be) on the hope to lessen the burden of the guilt that you have inherited as a Turk. Today in Europe more and more Turks are realising that their grandmothers are Armenian by origin because they were stolen by their great grandfathers as atractive white skinned children. Last week I went to the opening of a restaurant owned by such a Turk who bought the place from a pure Armenian.
Turkey will never escape from the truth, Turkey's greatest fear, that recognition questions the legitimacy of Turkey as a country (think about it if you can). Earlier this year I was in Istanbul on business, but not with Turks. I went to a few Armenian churchs and met high ranking members of that community. I asked them a simple question - when Turkey eventually capitulates and recognises the Genocide what do you think will happen? Their honest reply was - we are the front line we will pay with our lives for the Turkish revenge that will be unleashed on us, but we are ready so long as the souls of the massacred can finally rest in piece - these are the words of Armenians who are citizens of your precious Turkey today.
We Armenians know and understand Turks very well and you can forget about entering Europe it will never happen.
