Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

PARLIAMENT OF NETHERLANDS RECOGNIZES GENOCIDE OF ARMENIANS IN OTTOMAN TURKEY IN 1915

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 22. ARMINFO. The parliament of Netherlands has recognized the Genocide of Armenians in Ottoman Turkey in 1915. Minister of foreign affairs of Armenia Vardan Oskanian informed during news conference at the National Press Club Wednesday.

Answering the question on the decision of the European Commission on the beginning of negotiations with Turkey on accession to EU, the minister mentioned "we are satisfied with the situation. In its expectations from the resolution of the European Commission Armenia knew when to stop". According to the minister, Armenia expected that the Armenian clause will not be a pre-condition for the beginning of the negotiations for Turkey's accession to European Union. "That's why we positively assess the fact what happened, as today we have in our hands the decision of the European Parliament, which has clearly formulated and makes demand of Turkey to recognize the Genocide of Armenians and open the Armenian-Turkish border as soon as possible", the minister said. He expressed an opinion that on Oct 3, 2005 when the negotiations Turkey-EU begin, these two issues will be on the agenda, all the pre-conditions are created for it. According to the minister, Netherlands' recognition of the Genocide was also a fruit of formulating of the European Parliament.

Since this is coming from Mr. Drop the Genocide, I sense sarcasm. If you knew anything about this issue you'd know plenty more countries like Russia, the Vatican, Greece, Canada, etc. also have recognized it. Many important ones. Second, making it seem like this is something that needs to be recognized by 190 more countries (and therefor is hopeless and shouldn't be bothered with) is a total mischaracterization. Do I care if the 50-some countries of Africa like freaking Botswana recognize it?! Do I care is the Pacific Island nations of Kiribati and Nauru recognize it?! No, this is about just a plain all out recognition like the Holocaust has, not a systematic passage of legislation in every country of the world.

              stop hinting to your thread

The Nederlands recognized the genocide just because they don't want Turkia to enter the EU. Nederland is at the edge of being governed by the racist extreme right wing.....and they need even more votes...

hey it's still relevant. A bonsai does nothing but grow and chill. While people take care of it. All we do is argue about this and that. Don't you know there is no concept besides a point?
I feel good knowing that a bonsai tree doesnt' have opinions. And I feel good knowing a well taken care of bonsai tree can outlive any Jew.

                  where r u from again?
cuz you've become my least favorite forumer. my condolences...
I pity your parents, and their parents. they failed at raising Armenian kids!
                  I am from Los Angeles.

I take it as a good sign that I am YOUR least favorite forumer.

Why do you pity my parents? They are very good parents. They did not fail, but your b!tch arse knows everything about me, right?

Just because I do not take the same path as you and the others do does not matter. I do not care about the Genocide because it is irrelevant today. You do not like me because everything you have been taught to cherish I am disgusted with. Because I believe in erasing your heritage and language (along with mine) and molding one race you are mad. Because I believe that God is not going to do anything and religion is just wasting my time. Because I have the ballz to say it too.

Why am I such a bad guy? I dont know. Maybe because I hate middle eastern influence? maybe because I dont care about YOUR history? Phuck off already. You and your pathetic excuse for pride. Go pray, go suck American politician xxxx...its gotten you this far.

Hey man you good morals (if that's what you call them) but your a little scary too. And saying but your b!itch arse knows everything about me right? I understand the ironic use of question-logic you got, but adding b!itch arse doesnt' exactly help your argument, that's more of an insult.
