Wino, I did not claim that had the Genocide not happened or had the Turks not denied it that those things would be true now. I simply answered your question to Arina, being another Armenian I found myself in place to do so. I realize that you may have meant in the confines of what the Turks can now give us, but I felt like ranting... Of course the Turks cant give that to us now.

You know, I've always wondered about the whole "we want our lands back" thing...

We learned all about it in school. It was an emotional argument.

Now really, what would we do with those lands?! We can barely fill up and sustain our own little nation tucked in the Caucasus. Yet we want to expand our borders manifold into Eastern Anatolia...I'm not sure our economy, nor our military, could handle such an expansion. Not to mention what has already been mentioned...what would happen to the people already living there?

The only way I could see it being beneficial from the beginning is if we went all the to the Black Sea coast.

Let's work on securing the Lachin Corridor.
