We are a democratic nation for 80 years only, which means a man's life! It is normal and we accept to have some non-democratic laws, and trying to change them.

But there is always a prosecutor who finds some law to sue some famous people..

Like our Nobel Prized (today) writer Orhan Pamuk has favored Genocide and he was sued for "insulting Turkish Army"

But nothing happens at the end..

He was on TV the whole day getting congratulations..

When did I claim I voted for anything or anyone on this forum for that matter? Furthermore, I am all for the open exchange of information. Before you finger point at Armenians, you can begin by fingerpointing your righteous enclave called Turkey.

My grandfather and grandmother was born in Selanik (Thessaloniki), Greece.. 70 million people livin in Turkey, half of them are comin from ex-ottoman countries

Should i ask some real-estate in Greece? Or should they ask Izmir back? As they did @ end of 1st war 2 for reasons of a thousand years old?

Lands now are made by war, should we ask some land for how many years? 10? 100? 1000? 10000?

I have heard this idea before from Turks saying let by-gones be by-gones. I agree. Just convince all of your enlighted friends to join you in a rally mourning the dead and deported Armenians. When enough of you raise your voices and force the gov't to change its policy then the world will see how enlightened and progressive the Turkish people are. Then you can mourn for the Greeks and Assyrians showing the upmost empathy. After that make peace with the Kurds. By this point of course the whole world will be applauding the greatness and brotherly love shown by Turks. Undoubtably a Turk will be nominated by popular mandate to head the new global gov't to lead us all like lambs to the slaughter.

How is this any different from how things have always been? Still the big guy pushes the little guy around and gets his way. Besides I am pretty sure the economic colonization does not include a plan to deport or exterminate Armenians therefore it may not be so painful.

At that time there were colonies of blood, now its time for economical colonization.

But the main idea is the same..

At least we, as people, by our nature never discriminate people, always respect people's race/religion. Ask your brothers living here, they're havin much more freedom then an ordinary turk livin in France or Germany.

So the nations u are collaborating now has no difference then what the Turks u hate was those days..

Why do you still choose to be a dependent people?

70 million Turks livin in Anatolia and 10 more abroad is a huge number, and we Turks are native soldiers, we all do quite serious army service, ready to fight and more important willing to fight.. (Please dont take these words as a menace but i am really curious how these plans will become real??)

And we have good strategic relations with xxxs, also how EU will risk to loose his negotiation castle with Islam?

Cant you understand? he is a paranoid(Im very serious)Please think; a small lunatic person covet Republic of Türkiye's lands.Do you think he is a normal person.
They dont know and never learn to respect their neighbours' borders especially if you concluded a Kars Treaty in 1921.However,some can cry like a baby after years and dont abide by his agreement (we mention about a fickle country,yes there can be countries like that,but I know only Armenia),

so It is impossible for them to stop conflicts, they have been pruducing rancours for a long time.It is the way of surviving of Diaspora.They establish their lives on rancours and they have to carry on this vicious circle.They re nourished with rancour. You cant change this and you dont need to explain somthing to someone like him.

Many diasporans are the descendants of genocide survivors. They are not just going to forget what the Ottoman Turks did to them or their ancestors in 1915. For the Turkish government the diasporans are merely the "ones that got away."
