You have to ask yourself how France is dealing with the rioters and vandals. And if the same thing was happening in Turkey, what do you think Turkish government or your fanatic nationalists would’ve done? And how Turkey is dealing with the Kurdish issue, how many (vandals and rioters) were killed in France?

Armenians were massacred for doing the same thing, till this day Turkey tries to justify it.

You are omiting one thing. Kurds walks around with otomatic rifles and hand grenades and hiding on the montains. When they get an oportunity they kill 20 years old Turkish soldiers without hesitating. You may know every male citizen who reachs the age of 20, have to join to the Army in Turkey. Therefore I might have been killed by them while I was in the Army.

But these rioters in France don't kill 20 years old people and just demages properties. Kurds have started to kill and Turkish Government have responded them in the same way. But if you ask me that why Kurds have done it, the answer is of course for their rights. But in the worst way.

And you may know that Frenchs, Greeks etc. gave the Kurds weapons many times. Look at their teacher. I am sure if the French Government doesn't be afraid of the world they kill these rioters without hasitating too. And don't forget teachers of Ottomans (Germans) in the Armenian Genocide.

          Vandalism

          | 16:09:43 | 14-11-2005 | Social |

On November 13 at about 01:00 a.m. in Pyatigorsk (Stavropol region)
an attempt has been made to burn the builing of the Armenian Culture
Center where the offices of a number of Armenian organizations are
located. There is also an Armenian church nest to the Culture house.

The act of arson has been shot by video: three young people wrote
with green paint "Allah Akbar" o nhte wall of the building, and threw
the bottle with petrol to teh window. Fortunately the bottle hit the
window-sill, fell down and exploded outside the building, not inside
it. A fire brigade and policemen arrived at the place of incident.

Representatives of different communities have already condemned
          the crime.

No needed to see those brutality. I recommend to everyone don't look at them.

Reincarnated, you have been comparing two countries with ignoring the history.

First of all, France is a state that experienced a revolution in 1789 and Renasaince with Reforms in 16th century and Industrial revolution in 19th century. Therefore, due to this revolution, that including ‘’Humanism’’ and ‘’The Declaration of Human Rights’’, France must’ve been the center of ‘democracy’ and one of the first defencive state of the human rights.

On the contrary, we see today ‘’Racism’’ and ‘’Fascism’’ in France, that can be related to some politicians and politics. Of course, after many experiences in Democracy, French Government knows how to behave to the rioters, (the rioters, created by their policies). Unfortunately, Frenchs have had an unreasonable obsession about their supremacy for years. But, for instance, England seem to overcome it and I think they have never became nationalists as much as France.

Read this paragraph that is from near history.

‘’Substantial evidence implicates France in Algerian genocide during 1954-62 war of independence in which more than 200,000 Muslims were slaughtered. Senior French officers who fought in Algeria have recently confessed that torture and summary executions were routine grisly instruments of French warfare. President Chirac and Prime Minister Jospin, however, have fiercely opposed a parliamentary inquiry into the genocide as exploring a subject best left to historians.’’

Those events didn’t happen long time ago as you see. So, what we should’ve expected from France but what we are seeing today.

All I wanted to say were these.

Academics Face Jail For Human Rights Report On Minorities In Turkey

                      Deutsche Presse-Agentur
                      November 15, 2005, Tuesday
                      15:45:32 Central European Time

Two Turkish professors face up to five years behind bars for publishing
a report urging Turkey to overhaul the way it treats minorities and
approaches its own to national identity, the Anadolu news agency
                      reported on Tuesday.

Prosecutors in Ankara indicted Ibrahim Kaboglu and Baskin Oran over
opinions published in a report for the Human Rights Consultative Board
                      - a board formed by Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, whose government
had also originally commissioned the report.

The prosecution would seek prison sentences on the grounds that the
two academics had "attempted to spread hatred and enmity among the
                      people", according to the indictment.

The report published in October 2004 had called for the official
recognition of minorities in Turkey such as Moslem Alawites and Kurds.

It also suggested to change the way people describe themselves from
the ethnic term "Turks" to "citizens of Turkey".

At the time, right-wing politicians condemned the report and death
threats were made against the authors.

The government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which had commissioned the
report, distanced itself from the board and has not acted on any of
                      its recommendations.

The indictment issued Tuesday included a lengthy explanation why the
changes should not be made, and cited France's refusal to recognise
minorities as a reason why Turkey should not change its position on
                      the matter.

Neither were people from France are described as being "French" and not
"citizens of France", the indictment said, dismissing the suggestion
to adopt a different reference for the term "Turks".

Based on the 1923 Treaty of Lausanne that formed the basis for the
establishment of the modern Turkish republic, Turkey currently only
recognizes a small number of non-Moslem minorities, such as members
of the Greek and Armenian Orthodox communities.

Third, it is accepted as self-evident."
