This people (extremists) must think International politics is a soccer match or something.

    First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident."

True believers dont get offended by when what they believe in is defamed or insulted by words or pictures they just accept nonbelievers ignorance.
Extremist get offended and cause evil by way of actions against who they feel encroached on what they believe is their false national pride.
Ignorance is constantly cultivated amongst people because it serves their political aims.Yet ignorance and fear are the greatest Evil,

Turkish Governor Claims There Was No Attack On Armenian Church

          AP Worldstream
          Feb 16, 2006

The governor of a central Turkish city on Thursday denied that there
was any recent attack on an Armenian church, the semiofficial Anatolia
          news agency reported.

The denial by Gov. Osman Gunes of Kayseri came a day after the Armenian
Patriarchate in Turkey said in a written statement that a group of
people had fired 10 times at a church door, chanting "Allahu Akbar"
          and anti-Christian slogans.

The patriarchate on Thursday said the attack against the church was
reported by members of the tiny Armenian community in Kayseri and
that it was investigating the reported incident.

"These claims do not reflect the truth," Gunes said in a statement,
          according to Anatolia.

However, the governor said police on Feb. 9 examined the church after
a local church official reported that someone fired at it.

"Although the traces of two bullet holes were found above the back
door of the church, it could not be determined when those shots were
fired," Gunes said, ruling out any recent attack on the church.

"Also, the allegations of chanting of 'Allahu Akbar' or anti-Christians
slogans by a group of people is out of the question."

The reported attack coincided with outrage in the Muslim world against
the publication of caricatures depicting Islam's Prophet Muhammad.

But the governor insisted there was no link.
