Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Instead of preaching to us morning, noon and night why don't you?
Don't fricking tell me you have to live in Eastern Armenia to know right from wrong you hypocrite.
    lol well said

Who wants the Russians out of Armenia anyway? What Russia has to do is reject its newly found pro-Turkish stance of recent years because in the long term, Russia will not gain from a strong Turkey despite the fact that it is involved in the construction of certain pipelines. We want to see the Russia of old.

Anyway, despite all the pressure on Sargsyan and Nalbandian, they could have chosen not to sign. Don't tell me that they had no choice, it is Nalbandian's own hand after all. That's why they are considered traitors.

Davo, by having the pipes amd other routes go through Armenia, Russia can control turckey and Azerbadjian it is not hard to see this. All sides have much to gain here in the long term, that is why this is being done. One can easily make the argument that had they not signed then they would be trators because that would be forcing the powers to take action against Armenia. Gavur nowhere in my posts do i claim what you say, your just making xxxx up, as for preaching it sounds to me like your doing a lot more of it then me. Iond who said i dont use algebra? The teaching job is a part time gig for me, you know nothing about me except the fact that i destroy the arguments that the armenian government is treasonous and that it is destroying Armenia by signing these protocals. Some of you are so full of hate you refuse to see any other posibility besides the one in your fantacies. It is important to have a open but rational mind especialy in regards to national affairs, making decisions based on emotions is unaffordable for even the strongest of nations let alone our Armenia. I think like this or like that because my aunt , mom, party official tells me to is hardly a excuse for reaching the wrong conclusions, you have a head on your shoulders for a reason, might as well use it instead of copying and pasting xxxx all day.
      Hayastan or Bust.

Yes, but in reality, Turkey is not interested in aligning itself with Russia as much as it is interested in aligning with the EU and the US. The expanding influence of Russia in the area is contrary to the latter 2s interests and would surely be to a lesser degree.

Nobody would have said that Sargsyan is a traitor because he is forcing the powers to act against Armenia by not signing, he would have been hailed positively. If Sargsyan had not signed, he would have justified it by saying that the cause is the popular opposition to the protocols in Armenia and the diaspora and the powers wouldn't have been able to do anything.

What on earth brings you to the conclusion that the strongest world powers would not be able to do anything if Serj defies them? Do you really think this or are you just typing stuff cause you got nothin better to do? Turckey will side itself with whoever it thinks will benefit it the most at the time. It does compete with russia over the caucuses but it also has its share of problems with the eu, usa and isreal.

Armenia is already in a fairly disadvantageous position when we talk about regional projects because of its isolation. Despite this, Armenia in general fares better than the Georgia, Azerbaijan and Ukraine (human development index). What more would the powers do, then?

It doesn't take much to punish Armenia and cause her precious hdi to plummet. Instead of challenging the world, might as well do what we can to profit from their plans.
