That's why Jimi Hendrix is considered one of the best musicians in the world, with Rolling Stones giving him #1 guitarist. The guy not only could play the guitar upside down, but he had the best lyrics!

Brian Adams is a no name moron who only got famous because of that stupid Robin Hood movie with Kevin Costner. He is, quite accurately, a nobody, and in 40 years from now people will praise Jimi Hendrix as they do now, but Brian Adams will be unknown. By the way, Hendrix' lyrics are symbolic, and not every pea brain can understand it.

well as much as I respect Jimi Hendrix, his music is boring.
after 10 minutes of listening to that music style, I feel like I have to pop out that cd.
so just cuz you worship him or whatever, doesn't mean he appeals to everyone.
people are different.
they have different tastes in music.
and when it comes to ME, it's most often about the music... lyrics come second.
and I happen to enjoy Brian adam's music more.

All Along the Watch Tower is a Bob Dylan song so he should get credit for the lyrics. It's all he deserves because Dylan sucks. I love Hendrix, but that RS Top 100 guitarists list was one of the biggest peices of xxxxing xxxx I have ever xxxxing read and who ever printed should be castrated and gutted.

I hope Linkin Park meets a similar fate. Completely talentless bullxxxx. They don't deserve to be called music.

The only thing that matters to me is whether or not Jimi Hendrix would have been in the top five.

Of course, there is alot of xxxx wrong with it, people who got up there that shouldn't have been that far up. Van Halen, and Robert Plant should have been up there along with Hendrix

Well, I'm flattered that you keep me in such high esteem, but since I had previously disagreed with your views, we should agree to disagree.

I still say everyone should let everybody else listen to what they want, unless it's rap.

Or maybe we should compile a list of music we can all agree on tolerating.
