  • Who are ur favorite (& least favorite) Armenian singers?

just like the "poll" option, there should be an option to create threads where u can rate things.

let the forum know what u think of any (or all) of the following Armenian singers.
i have rated them on a scale to 10. (10 being the best)

    Adiss Harmandyan - 10
    Andy Madadian - 6
    Aram Asatryan - 7
    Ararat Amadian - 7
    Arman Baghchedjian - 4
    Artash Asatryan - 5
    Arthur Apkarian - 6
    Avo Sarkissian - 5
    George Tutundjian - 7
    Harout Pamboukjian - 10
    Harout Zenian - 4
    Hovanness Badalian - 8
    Joseph Krikorian - 5
    Karnig Sarkissian - 7
    Levon Katerdjian - 6
    Manuel Manankichian - 8
    Marten Yorgantz - 6
    Maxim - 8
    Nersik Ispirian - 3
    Nune Yesayan - 6
    Paul Baghdadlian - 10
    Puzant Kelendjian - 7
    Robert Chilingirian - 6
    Ruben Hakhverdian - 7
    Tata Simonyan - 9
    Tatoul Avoyan - 6
    Vatche - 9

Please try to be as objective as possible!!! Rate singers based on their singing ability, not their looks. Some of these singers are now past their prime, so rate them when they were at their best.

I'm looking forward to reading ur opinions. Once again, you do not have to rate all of them. Add others if u like, i will give them my rating if i know them.

I forgot to point out Gor. Glad we agree on him.

As for Badalian....well...he's dead now. He died 2-3 years ago I think. He is generally known as the singer who brought real armenian music back to popularity in Armenia and the diaspora in his heyday (the 70s I guess). He's also the one that trained Roupen Matevosian, and other singers of traditional (and not always so traditional) armenian music.
