if tongues could speak in twos
then who's is to say that we cant stand straight
    seeing what our tongues spew
    and eliminate being tongue tied
as we rhyme and ride into the mysts of time
    where silence and stars collide
creating the spoken word and beats and shocks and booms
and beats and booms and baps tongues don't hide
behind bars of jail cells with rats under hands,
unlike sordid snakes with tongues as swords
that use words to make wars
we create smiles to make worlds
    and twist the serpentine tongues
    that build diametrical doors
    and poison our lungs
that try to create verbal warrooms
as we slip through spineless seas
    uttering incantations of
    un-tongue-tied symbols on our knees
    to experiment within expressive contexts
to use our tortured tongues to rock the right
furious fractions of infinite eight phrasings,
transcribed highlight spikes in our vibration,
my pen loops swirl thought and sound
into one song of letters spoken by the tongue
and if tongues could speak in twos
we would live love and emotion in the moment
and essence in the present man made plan
but only if tongues could speak in twos
and use the tongue to use the words to transfuse
    the tongue tied taboos.

        I love the ocean.............
The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function. -- F. Scott Fitzgerald

          lost under black october skies,
          midnight sailing the ocean wide.
a spray of stars blink in the sky above
          foaming, furious tides turn below.
          bittersweet salty ocean breeze
          a hazy flood of memories
          like the fog rolling in
          remember times we've sailed before,
remember times we'll sail once more.
          now and then
          here and there
a tail glistens in the moonlight
          dophins put on a show
          they know, must know
          they are beauty unparalleled.
          now stand here, look ahead
          throw out your cares
          your worries too.
          swallowed by the ocean,
          lost in the blue.......................
The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function. -- F. Scott Fitzgerald

I thought this was poetry corner, not lyrics taken from George Harrison corner. 8)

Emil, again we are at the cross roads of understanding. You see all lyrics start out with poetry. And by the way that song rocks!

                  It’s gonna take time
A whole lot of precious time
It’s gonna take patience and time, ummm
To do it, to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it,
                  To do it right child

Oh anileve, but you see, the poetry corner is for poems written by the poster, and not by anyone else.

Oh, my dear I don't believe there was a guideline of such nature listed in the thread. Sorry to spoil your little party, you have been unsuccessful in retaining possession of your comment! George Michael "Careless Whisper" here I come.
