I just can't imagine life without driving.

Without cars maybe, but without driving the car yourself? That's not unimaginable.. You can always take the bus, streetcar, subway, cab, ride a bicycle, or if it's a shorter distance, rollerblade. I don't drive a car and get around the city very easily. Sure, I would like to have a car, but even if I do, it would be out of necessity for longer distance and daily hassles of rush-hour traffic on buses more than anything else, such as showing off, etc. There's nothing embarassing in not owning a car. Besides, who would want to get their car sent to the junkyard cos of some blind chinese idiot who should be banned from driving a car for the rest of his life, instead of being given a license to go and crash into the back of others' cars... ?

Maybe if you said you couldn't imagine life without computers, I would agree with you.
