Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

    Re: U.N. Anti-Racism Conference

Getting back on topic. I liked the Iranian Presidents speech.

Here is the full speech. It tells the truth, unlike the western propaganda.

This is the full text of the speech Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave at the Durban Review Conference, a UN conference on racism, in Geneva, Switzerland, on Tuesday, 20th April 2009.

Here is a major extract of what the sorts of things he was saying about Zionism. It wasn't racist, its just what the US press wants people to believe like the infamous "I want to wipe Israel off the map" comment that never existed and was never said.

But dear friends, today the human society is facing a kind of racism which has an ugliness that has completely distorted the honour of mankind at the verge of the third millennium and it has made the global society shameful. The global Zionism is the complete symbol of racism, which with unreal reliance on religion has tried to misuse the religious beliefs of some unaware people and hide its ugly face. But what should be seriously considered are the goals of certain superpowers and those in possession of major interests in the world; those who try their best through economic power and political influence and wide media means, to lessen the crimes and ugliness of the nature of the Zionist regime. Here, the main issue is not ignorance and therefore, cultural movements on their own, are not sufficient to fight this evil phenomenon. But we should try to put an end to the misuse of international means by the Zionists and their supporters. And by respecting nations' demands, we should motivate the united governments to eliminate this clear racism and step on the path of reforming international relations 0and mechanisms with courage.

Yes, he said some very valid points. Unfortunately, the west is blind to truth and only likes to hear things that praise them and especially Israel.

The British and Spanish delegations also walked out, both countries' foreign affairs divisions confirmed. Watch delegates make their exit »
NZ walked out because our current PM is Pro-Israeli/US. While in opposition he supported the war in Iraq and other US policies aka he supports how Israel acted in Palestine. Luckily he is a politician. So he wouldn't dare split the country and lose votes by being pro-Israel and US...walking out in a conference is all he could do,lol.

But I think a human rights representative from NZ (who stayed to listen) enjoyed Iran's speech.

Yes all Western e.g. EU, US, Canadian, Australian, Delegates left because Amandinajad is a real threat to society, he is a racist person who has absolutely no clue what he is getting himself into. I myself abhor and dislike Amandinajad very very much. I support the walkout-by the EU, US, Canada, Australia etc. Iran is facing tougher EU, US Sanctions and this is a must Iran must stop its nuclear uranium enrichment program at once otherwise Iran will continue to face more Sanctions and will continue to be isolated. Iran is loosing out here not the EU or US or other Western Powers. Iran is continuing its dangerous road down to isolation and further sanctions, Iran's economy is suffering greatly from those Sanctions. Iran will continue to suffer the consequence until Iran meets the demands of the free and civilized world.

My country Canada has suspended all Diplomatic relations with Iran. I fully back the Canadian Governments initiative as well as the EU and US of cutting off all Diplomatic and economic trade with Iran. Iran must halt these actions.

Iran is supplying weapons to the Iraqi militia to attack EU and US troops and other Western (NATO,EU,US Canadian) troops in Iraq. This is simply not acceptable.

Had that been Ilham Aliyev up there talking about massacring Armenians and wiping Armenia off the map, nobody would have walked. Not even the Armenians.

                1. He isn't a racist. A bit stupid and insulting yes, very religious yes, but not a racist. He denies the Holocaust for political reasons more than anything because of the Palestine issue...he won't tolerate Israeli's until they start treating Palestinians like human beings. If you ever read about him outside the western propaganda or tried to read between the lines you would know that.

                2. You think it matters whether it has nukes or not? Of course it doesn't. Iran doesn't want nukes...if it did it would boost relations with Russia and get Russia to put nuclear bases on their soil and aim the nukes at Israel.

Dream on the inspections find nothing...just like Iraq. The reason: there are no secret nuclear activities. Iranians want nuclear power...let them have it. I don't believe Israel's Iran conspiracy theories...sure its a nice fiction novel...but its not reality. The only reason US + Israel spread the lie is because they want Iran to be weak and poor, and at a low technology level.

                3. Sanctions never work. Read about Zimbabwe, and North Korea and tell me that Robert Mugabe and Kim Jong Il don't have total power and absolute luxury. Sanctions do nothing..except of course causing the death of 500,000 Iraq children, and of course the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Zimbabweans. Sanctions never hurt the leadership...it makes them even stronger in power, the people suffer more and nothing happens.

                4. It actively trades with Armenia, China and Russia, and several other nations despite the myth of global sanctions. Also it has vast oil reserves. The fact is that the world can't do without Iran's oil so US and Israel can rant, rave and sanction all they want. But in reality they can't do anything to Iran...behind the scenes US and Israel still have to buy Iran's oil. So Iran is not isolationist. Iran's economy is suffering only because of global recession, the sanctions are irritating and make trade a little harder but Iran's economy was booming before the global recession. So it is doing quite well.

                5. Iran doesn't care what the western world thinks. Every nation in Africa doesn't care what the western world thinks, China doesn't really care what the western world thinks, and South America doesn't really care what the western world thinks. Since there is such widespread lack of support for the western world's "spread democracy and freedom which is actually a oppressive pro-US dictatorship" concept.

Should there be better human rights and proper democracy in Iran, of course. But as long as the western world continues to condemn Iran...the same leadership will stay in power and there will be no change in the form of government there.

                    Re: U.N. Anti-Racism Conference

Our dear Imam* ordered that the occupying regime in Al-Qods be wiped off the face of the earth. This was a very wise statement. The issue of Palestine is not one on which we could make a piecemeal compromise… This would mean our defeat. Anyone who would recognize this state [Israel"> has put his signature under the defeat of the Islamic world.
The creation of the regime occupying Al-Qods (Jerusalem) was a heavy move by the globally dominant system and Global Arrogance against the Islamic world. There is a historic battle going on between the Oppressor World and the Islamic world and the roots of this conflict goes back hundreds of years.
Lebanese Christian Translators + US + Israel merged these lines together to mean "wipe Israel off the map".

Read his full speech here: http://www.iranfocus.com/en/index.ph...k=view&id=4164

What he actually said was that the occupying regime aka the Israel government should be destroyed to make way for a new state of Palestine, not wipe out Israel. But even then these are not the Iranian President words but the words of a past Iranian President, so,lol.

                      Are you sure?

Although a US presidential candidate is on Youtube stating that his reaction to Iran would be "bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" to the music of the Beach Boys.
