Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!


2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

      Japan had a strong army before they got bombed back to the stone ages. The allies demilitarized the country and the U.S. military took over. There are still 40,000 to 50,000 U.S. soldiers occupying Japan so Japan can't do anything regardless of how strong their economy is unless they go gorilla and start taking out U.S. soldiers one by one ala Afghanistan or Iraq. There is even a statement in their constitution that says they aren't allowed to have a military force... how is that for being sovereign, you can't even defend yourself. But they slave all day to make cool electronics and cars so it's all good. No, this isn't a racist world at all... keep watching TV people, ignorance is bliss. Happiness in slavery

      So, Muslims can populate and occupy Europe all they want, but they can't get powerful or change laws without weapons. I've met Muslims that I found were far more trustworthy than any Canadians, Americans or Armenians for that matter. Muslims from say Indonesia are different that Pakistan... a person's religion doesn't make him/her who he/she is, it has to do a lot with personal experience, their parents, their surroundings, circumstances, etc. I wouldn't call many Europeans practicing Christians either, being fearful of another person's faith just means you're not secure about your own. It's not a Muslims fault if the rest of the population would rather waste money on their lifestyles, bmw's, etc. instead of raising children.

        Post-war Japan has serious problems. First of all, their constitution limits their land, sea and ground forces. Also, they could not have 'aggressive' weapons such as ballistic missles and heavy bombers. And Japan can not declare war on any opponent; she can only be 'declared war' upon heh.

        But all those are just about the law. The most serious issue is, Japanese people are so amused with the Western world that causes them to lose their national pride. However, due to their cultural and social characteristic; they can not easily align with the West; that makes them differ from Germans.

        Both Germany and Japan are the 'defeated' sides of the war, however while Germany is a part of the Western world, Japan is an island on far far east with a population who wants to be like Western people.

        Also social moral level is so low in Japan, that you could consider Netherlands as a monastery.

              we were comparing examples of nations where the "strong economy" did not translate into military power or sovereignty. However, the Japanese did manage to reserve their country's citizenship for the ethnic Japanese, and their population size suggests that they aren't having the obstacles we face in surviving as a race in the 21st century.

                The only reason Japan does not have a strong military is because the USA won't allow it, otherwise they would have a dam good one. Japan is very much still a conquered nation and a slave to the USA. It's once proud people now worship have been rock and movie stars from the USA. It is pretty pathetic actually.

                  this is a really anti nationalistic answer, but none of this matters.

                  Islam, Christianity, Judaism....Armenians, Germans, Turks, Chinese, in the end humanity will go on without them. xxxx happens, and there's nothing any of us can do to prevent the inevitable, cultures die out, some go on for a little while longer than others, but in the end they still disappear. Every empire in history has fallen, even if they had the resources to maintain control and assimilate the conquered populations, and in the end, their effects on the populations culture fades too.
