The argument erupted after MK Danny Danon (Likud) called for the retrenchment of the principal of a school in the Negev town of Arara, who took students on a human rights march held in Tel Aviv last month.

"You are marching against the state," Michaeli shouted at Majadele, who answered back, "shut up." He then added that, "She won't shut me up. This is not Yisrael Beiteinu.( Russian Party) The issue of fascism won't stop here -- I intend on taking this debate to other Muslims who will serve as an example for the State of Israel...

Fascism will not be allowed to take over the house." Michaeli replied that "It is disrespectful to the status of women in the Knesset.

We will discuss the matter in the Ethics Committee."

At a certain point in the argument, as it appeared that Michaeli was about to leave the room to calm down, she poured a cup of water and threw the contents at Majadele. Following that, she left the room with fury.

If the Arab had thrown the cup at the J3w, the result: Arab arrested on the spot, put in a kangaroo court, stripped of Israeli citizenship and deported to Gaza or Qatar. Israel, the de facto apartheid state.

Ethics and Israel don't belong in the same sentence.

    I bet that's a well-worn committee room.

    Iceland Recognizes Palestine

REYKJAVIK, Iceland (AFP)—Iceland has formally recognized an independent Palestinian state, becoming the first northwestern European country to take the move.

Reykjavik recognized Palestine as “an independent and sovereign state within the pre-1967 Six Day War borders,” Iceland’s Foreign Minister Ossur Skarphedinsson said in a statement on Thursday, AFP reported.

“Palestine is now recognized for the first time by a country in western and northern Europe,” the statement added.

Together with the country, at least 112 states around the world have recognized Palestine. Around 150 countries also maintain diplomatic relations with Palestine in one form or another.

The Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland in Eastern Europe and Malta in the south of the continent have already undertaken the recognition in Western Europe.

In September, acting Palestinian Authority Chief Mahmoud Abbas formally asked the United Nations to fully recognize Palestine as a member state.

I'm not even a bit surprised about sweden's vote. They say they're neutral, but in reality, their actions and policies in the last decade have shown that their interests is in the USA/Israel block. Julian Assaunge, this, participation in NATO bombing of Libya, list goes on. They're xxxxing hypocrites.
