  • Question About "Sarma" ?

I was observing Armenian culture and I saw from Wikipedia.

That your country is vine and grape country and you cook " Sarma " which is made with Grape leaves. Same food is made in my county, and it has same name "Sarma" again.

    How do you prepair it.

I want to compare with our Sarma.

My family had a discussion about this a few nights ago.

Sarma in Turkish means to wrap and Dolma means to stuff.

Basically, anything that is wrapped with the leaves, it's Sarma. That's how we refer to it in my family, but I know many other Armenian families, where if they're wrapped meat, they call it Dolma. If it's anything else, they call it Sarma.
