When Gods ruled the earth man had many altars to pray on, then men only bowed to the knees of the 'Lord' they proclaimed, then when the Lord was still not enough, they finally made themselves God, and that is what science is doing or attempting to do, but then falling short on. So then, we still aren't any better off or knowing anymore than what we started out with. And we are still seeking the same questions, the babbling merchants spoke of in Ostia during Rome, or Reims, during the Carolingians, or Constantinople during Heraclius' time, or Florence during the Renaissance, or in Geneva in 1712. The unmitigated search for what we are searching has left us with unmitigated suffering and still searching for more. How do we know anything anyway?

"Nothing is truly new; it has all been done or said before. What can you point to that is new? How do you know it didn't exist long ages ago? We don't remember what happened in those former times, and in the future generations no one will remember what we have done back here."
