Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

By the way are you going to post some of your art work? That also works for the enrichment of the spirit. Carry on with your worship and don’t forget to pray to me on daily bases. May the feminist spirits be with thee always and forever.
Dark it is; there shall be no impure chocolates for my savior.

      Regulars or 100's?

I have begun a project of carving cigarettes out of Swiss chocolate on which Your Eminence's name is engraved by hand.

My artwork? Hmm. I do not have any photos of my paintings. It wouldn't do the paintings justice anyway. I do have some digital photos...
But no I will not post any of my artwork. I do not care if anybody sees them. The only two people who's opinions matter to me, my father and his friend Arshak, like them. That is all that counts.

My father's artwork is available for online viewing. But the site is not complete.

Well, I did read your post, but my thread doesnt deal with the entertaining aspect of things, that is what I am trying to say. I couldn't care less about that. It was simply an analysis from a non entertaining point of view. At the same time, at least YOU responded to the thread or the topic at hand, as opposed to the local fringe groups.

The purveyors of technology constantly promise a world of free energy and genetic miracles that will extend life and feed the world. Indeed one of their main promises is that they can eventually create an immortal human being. Technocratic philosophers even preach that it will one day be possible to download the human soul onto a microchip

That to me sounds like modern technology, past technology, ALL technology and it's impending doom for man.

Next time perhaps a link to the article might have cleared the air, though it would have done naught for me because even having read the article I still would have come back with the reply I initially posted.

Mouse, if you even utter the words entertaining aspect ONE MORE TIME I will seriously come over and kick you. Do I HAVE to spell it out?? While I did indeed vent in my FIRST post that we should take a second to 'enjoy the view', in the rest of my posts I tried to make it crystal CLEAR that I am talking about how come we can't take the time to overanalyze the positive messages/ histories/ links/ predictions/ lessons etc etc etc etc that come out of Tolkein? Why must everyone's favorite pasttime be recounting how miserable we were, how miserable we are, and how miserable we are destined to be..... Is that better??

Regulars would be just fine, since I like everything in moderation. Cigarettes out of chocolate? I prefer to keep those 2 separate, 2 luxuries in one is not good practice. Lesson #1.

I understand your disdain in showing your intimate possessions to the public eye, however, I am not just a public eye, I am goddess elf and you are my disciple. We have established a spiritual bond that should be nourished, thus you must reveal the sacred bearings of your soul. How about PMing me photos of your artwork?

The article doesn't analyze anything about miserable or good, it simply just analyzes, you can interpret it anyway you want to, again you are swimming in assumptions.

If you read the article you would see a certain positive bias to it, as it touches on free will and how our choices do make a difference, ala Frodo.

                      Mental note: no chococigs.

I have nothing to PM other than digital photography. My photographic prints have not been scanned and my paintings and not been photographed. When I am home (working now) I will PM you some digital photography.
