I don't like those ... I'd say Round Table and Pappa Murphy's are better than those. If I HAD to pick one in that list, it would probably be Dominos. CPK (CA pizza kitchen) also has good pizzas ... I always get their thin crust BBQ chicken pizza from the frozen food section.
There is this really awesome pizza place in Madison (WI) called Glass Nickel ... I do miss that place!
By the way, I LOVE thin crust and I can't stand deep dish! I have never liked any of the chicago style pizzas where you can't even eat a slice before getting overly full.
How long does it take for you to make Pizza Siggie?
Five to 10 minutes to get the dough done and set it aside for a bit. This can be earlier in the day, the day before, etc. Sauce takes like another 10 to 15 and then just simmers on it's own (the longer the better).
The rest is just cutting up some veggies, rolling out the dough, and assembling. They only take about 10 minutes to bake. So active prep/cook time is only about 40 minutes total (including cutting up veggies). It's even faster with another set of hands.
The results are totally worth the little bit of effort and you can make smaller pizzas so everyone can have their own. Ordering 3 or 4 small pizzas can get pricey if you're ordering out.
Pizza dough is ridiculously easy to make, but if I recall correctly, Trader Joes sells some dough.
