There are a whole ton of "Why" questions I ask myself every day, but today I am going to focus on one:

I was over at the Sick Joke Thread. The introduction essentially warned everyone what it was about, if you're not into those kind of things, then simply don't read it (to me it's common sense, but i guess not...). So why, why, why will you subject yourself to material you do not want to see and then respond to the thread to insult the person who warned you about it in the first place?

The answer is because we are all brilliant.

Secondly WHY, WHY, WHY, must Armenians and other people of foreign ethnicity that live in America blame anything wrong with there kid on America or in Kanada's case, the general west? Kan, I have news, there are "mean girls" here, and there are mean girls in Armenia too. Even if Armenia had been in an isolated bubble since the 5th century bce, never having any interaction or connection with the outside world, there would still be "mean girls" there.

Because It is true, the General West and American media brainwash their children, and what it sounds like you to ask these questions to their parents. Their motive is to get you to purchase purchase purchase, stay poor, stay poor, the rich are greedy greedy greedy, conservative values are for rich greedy, conservative values are for rich greedy. Buy this buy this buy this, be hip be hip. Take it off, take if off, take it off? Now if you have never seen these ideas expressed through some sort of medium in American and general West society you are blind and lucky. Because this is what the media and television and everything around them, teach our children what to wear what to purchase, how to talk. Of course your Christian Armenian parents are sickened by it. I am and I was raised here, I fought my parents about it for a long time. Finally I realized the west is a consumer society, and traditional and "conserve"ative values are shunned in media because they don't help anyone, but say spend money, remain in debt, and help Joo's remain in power.

The difference is in the west "mean girls" is true in the sense of how many teenagers act. If you're outside of western culture, people just watch the movie and say "stupid Americans".

Oh and the fact that you care when Will Smith had a kid pretty much shows how much pop culture affects your life. When is the last time you sat down with Will Smith and had a talk? Has he influenced your life in any way? LOL

Like the modeling industry which is full of perverts, the advertising industry I'd assume isn't that much different.

Apparently sex sells so in order to sell, advertising has become an art consisting of sexual innuendos.

why are there so many references to butts in movies and tv today?

i was just watching a tv commercial which was walking womens' butts... turned out to be a nike commercial! last i remember, nike was a brand of shoe keep an eye out, i promise you will see/hear it everywhere!!
