Gagik Tsarukyan

I found some interesting videos abot Gagik Tsarukian. One of them is in Russian, two in German. I think the alligations against him are justified and that people like Dodi harm Armenia and our Image in the western World. I would like to know your opintion.

I think he can be rich,but not in expense of public wealth he must go,sooner is better holding back development and investments....

I heard many contradicting stories about him back in Armenia. He is an oligarch and 'corrupt' by definition but let's look at the bright side, the guy has revived the Armenian sport and contributes to create jobs for a portion of the youth by investing in various economic sectors. I think we need a couple of them..

I am not for the mafiosi, but how about talking about the many many good deeds of this mafiosi? His huge financial potential unlike others' has served the country.

I recommend you to watch it later. I was shocked as I wachted it.
If you compare the benefit with the harm these mafiosos cause for armenia's image, democracy and economy you will see that the damage is exordinary higher.
according to this guy, a descendend of Shahan Natalie, armenia loses approximately 400 mio $ every year because of these criminals.
even some of my own familiy members who has invested in Armenia have made such bad experiences.....dgbakhtabar worosh hayastanzi-hayere irenz more g@zakhein herik poghi hamar.....

Strange, I was thinking when I saw this thread that, based on your posts elsewhere, I had assumed you were a "support your local mafia" person.

There are those here who have in the past actually expressed the opinion that the existence of Tsarukyan it is a sign of how advanced and stable Armenia is, that Armenia is now wealthy enough to sustain his criminal actions and that of the others like him.

So he should be praised for inflicting his criminal activities on Armenia, and spending the ill-gotten gains in Armenia, rather than unpatriotically emigrating and inflicting them on America or Russia?

Is the video of his private zoo still online, the one where the donkey is put in a cage to be attacked by two tigers? And the infamous wedding video - the one where new depths are reached in bad taste, obnoxious excess, and toadying?
