        sorry to get all off topic here but i know what u guys are talking about. Sometimes people ask what my nationality is and I say Armenia and they are all like, "What is that?" It's like, you asked what nationality I am and now ur asking me what it is? It's a country and a very beautful one I should say.

        If u ask them, rarely there's a chance that they even heard of Armenia.
        This gets me mad cuz some Americans just know America and that's it and oh yes of course, they know slavery and the Holocaust

        Sorry, off topic, not lets get back to food.
        Yes, I can definitely go for some Dolma right about now.........yummm:

          Boreg swimming in butter? yik. Try buying (actually I have no idea what this would be in France but maybe they have the same stuff?) the really thin thin sheets of khmor that are used to make bakhlava and use that (I forget now who markets thes tuff, it's the same people who make kunefe khmor). You put down one sheet, spread a thin layer of butter using a brush then the next sheet and so on until you get to the middle. Then you put in a whole mess of shredded jack cheese. Then on top put the rest of the khmor sheet by sheet. It's tedious but it works. At the end you cut the top into small squares. Mix a cup full of milk with one egg. Spread that on top and pop it in the oven for 20 minutes and I swear you'll have rave reviews for your handiwork. It comes out all golden and crispy and cheesy. I think I just gave away some secret recipie. Ahh well, I get lots of love for it from guests, enjoy!

          I like to cook... I need some new suggestions to try. I finally learned how to make Mamooneia. Yum.

          As for Halebtsi's... anyone know how to make good haytalieh... you know the stuff that tastes like sahlab but you eat it with vanilla ice cream?? My dad LOVES the stuff and I've been trying for ages to figure out how to make it, to no avail.

                I LOVEEEEE chicken kebab with hummus. But my all time favorite is Dolma...and it has to be juicy dolma..not dry!
