You proved that instead of making posts you should be painting squares. Remember what Adam Smith said, we have to specialize to maximize our gains, in other words, you gotta do what you do best, and it sure ain't foruming.

Maybe you should take more than a community college art history course so you can have mediocre opinions about other things as well.

Don't be so quick to judge. I suspect there are a few rich old money airheads that would pay to see some awe inspiring 90 degree angles.

Originally posted by Wise OBSERVE intently the birds of heaven, because they do not sow seed or reap or gather into storehouses; still your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth more than they are?" (Matthew 6:26) Jesus Christ said these words in a famous sermon given on a mountainside near the Sea of Galilee. His audience was not limited to his followers. A great crowd of potential disciples from all parts of the land were present. Many of them were poor people who had brought the sick for Jesus to cure.—Matthew 4:23–5:2; Luke 6:17-20.

Having cured all the ailing ones, Jesus gave attention to the more important spiritual needs. Among the lessons he taught was the one mentioned above.

The birds of heaven have been in existence for a long time. Some of them feed on insects, others on fruit and seeds. If God has made available such abundant provisions for the birds, surely he is capable of helping his human servants to obtain their daily bread. He may do this by helping them to find employment so as to earn money for food. Or he may grant them success in growing their own food. As for times of emergency, God can move the hearts of kind neighbors and friends to share with needy ones what food they have.

I only partly agree with these ideas. I believe such ideas can teach you to appreciate what you have and it can make you proud and happy. All of that is very nice. However, I do not believe God would interfere with the interaction of everyone's free will because that would negate the idea of freewill. And I do not believe he singles out certain individuals and helps them and not others who are equally deserving. One cannot argue that people are born and are good people for their whole lives and are still forced to endure constant pain that has no rivaling relief. And the flipside is also true. It is for these reasons that I do not believe God would step in and help people. I do believe it is misleading to preach a protection at ground level when that in itself would cause an inconsistentency. I believe it is more real to opperate under the mentality that at any given second the worst possible thing for that moment may occur and you will be alone. And as I have shown one can feel that way whether or not one believes God has a presence in the universe.

ckBejug had posted something about prayer that said a similar thing.
