I dont think people change, they never change only the circumstances change. People have some characteristcs and they
find out them when they face some new situations and circumsatnces. Because a person can change its character until the age 7, after that " IT'S DONE". A seven year old has a developed character. It grows up, years by years and discovers new things and reacts to those things. That reaction is not change, it's just a feature that he/she never "met" before.

          Low self monitor:

-use internal values and beliefs in deciding how to behave
-act the same in most social circles
-can be relied upon for opinions as they tend to say it like they see it
-tend to be better in research and project-based work

Also, you will notice that people who are majoring/interested in the physical sciences will score towards the lower numbers, and people in Social sciences will score in the upper.

It makes you truthful. The higher you score, the harder you are trying to be something you're not.
