She would most likely have a natural abortion (miscarriage) A miscarriage is the bodys defense mechanism of humans having babies who are sick/deformed. Think of it as keeping the gene pool clean.

I don't think so, not for deafness or blindness... that type of abortion happens very early on often before the mother even knows she's pregnant and for more serious things.
I would verify, but I think I sold my embryology book.
