You can always go to church this sunday and maybe say a prayer? But I don't know if that's your sort of thing. Point is, we don't need to wait for April 24 to commemorate our ancestors.

YES! It's funny how people suddenly show up to be vocal about the genocide on this date (i.e. protests, rallys). When they can be just as active be calling, emailing, sending letters to their gov't reps to keep the pressure on. If it comes from more than a couple nat'l Armenian PACs, and they start recieving these correspondence regularly it will keep the pressure up the other 11 months of the year. Don't be afraid to support a pro-armenian candidate, be at events throughout the year, etc..

lets see.
on the 16th, we attended a commemoration ceremony in hollywood. our scouts were in charge of the flag ceremony.
on the 18th, we had educationals about the Genocide with 250 scouts from 3 chapters from southern california.
on the 23rd, we marched from pasadena to the montebello monument (11 miles) and had a vigil at the hooshartsan at 11 pm.
on the 24th, turkish consulate, then system concert.
