Has anyone here seen Paradjanov- two of his greatest films "The Colours of forgotten ancestors" or "Sayat Nova"?

Why was it bad in your opinion?

I mean, yea it seemed like it kinda lagged, but then again....

as a film editor I thought that the cuts and transition between each scene and the pacing of the movie was done in a brilliant way.

That movie took about 14 days to film as well (which is probably the fastest production a major motion picture has received.)

And the story wasn't all that bad, with the new twists it provided from scene to scene.

That's why I though it was good.

          I have...

          Chicago
          Cinema Paradiso
          Guys and Dolls
          Monsters, Inc
          Shrek

          All of which were gifts.

          Your turn.
I didn't know Cinema Paradiso was available on DVD. I guess I just found my dad a Father's Day gift...it's his favorite movie.

I don't own much DVD's because it is very rare that I watch movies more than once.
                    The DVD's I have are:
                    The Color of Pomegranates
                    Tata Simonyan's Concert in Yerevan - 2004
                    The Godfather DVD Collection
                    My Big Fat Greek Wedding
                    I see...

Twists and turns? I thought it was predicatable and boring.
It took 14 days to film (and only a mil to make i heard) because it took place IN A PHONEBOOTH! The entire time practically.
