Well Dan, u r wrong! Brad Pitt looked exactly how Achilles was desrcibed in the Iliad.
Tall, blonde, turquoise eyes, long blond hair, fit, well build, handsome, hot and greek. I guess u must know that Ancient greeks were blondies...and Achilles was the depiction of a handsome hot GREEK warrior.

P.S. The real Helen wasnt blonde, she was famous for her beauty of being a beautiful brunnete greek, not blond one, as she is in the movie.

Well, I didn't mean he wasn't fit cos of his looks. I don't know what it is about him that really makes him a weird choice for the role of Achilles, but it's definitely not about his blonde hair... I think it's because he has a "modern" look. For example, Eric Bana was the best choice for the role of Hector. Ditto for Orlando Bloom. But for some reason, not Brad Pitt. I do think he's hot, but some people are not meant to play roles in epic movies, although he did a fine job at it.

I think I'm in love with Eric Bana. He was SO good in the movie. The only part that I had tears in my eyes was when he was killed.

Can we stop discussing this worthless movie and focus on Reagan for a moment?

I prefer to talk endlessly about the gorgeous looks of Pitt, instead of the death of a former president.

I finally saw the movie. Most of the time I was clasping my friends arm in gasps of admiration for that incredible specimen, I've even managed to bite my tongue a few times.

I am not really into the whole Hollywood shebang, but this movie was highly entertaining, thrilling and arousing. I liked it better than the Gladiator. And I've always loved Peter O'Tool. Although he has aged tremendously, the sparkle and the vigor in his ocean blue eyes have not diminished. It was very enjoyable.

Better than Gladiator? IMO, Gladiator was artistically better (in terms of shooting angles, etc.), as well as the way the music (soundtrack) interacted with the movie. But that is not to say that Troy was any less impressive. It was a great movie. Good acting. Orlando Bloom was great in it. And you already know what I think about Eric Bana.

Artistically better? I don't think so. I find Eric Bana very attractive. He's an Aussie isn't he? Most of the Aussie men are usually attractive, I have to pay that fabulous country a visit soon.

Eric Bana was the best actor in that movie. Orlando Bloom was good too, but not that great. Ditto for Brad Pitt.
