Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Dear Diary,
As days go, today pretty much sucked, and it's not even over yet. Had today not happened at all, I would not even have noticed it. Wish I could backspace, delete, erase, and do it again. By the way, don't watch Unfaithful, it is the most terribly depressing movie ever. And it pretty much doesn't end. Miserable.
I wonder where the day went? Where the entire weekend went for that matter. One minute I woke up, the next minute it's dark outside. What the...!?! I hate rainy days. they make me lazy and unproductive. Then my conscience eats away at me because I was lazy What a stupid day. I wish the sun would come back up so I could go rollerblading at the beach. Even miserable days get better when you put some beach time in.
p.s. REALLY don't watch unfaithful.
Mwwwwwwwah!

Dear Diary,
I really want to thank CkBejug for bringing this thread back on topic from those infernal chat room style forumers. I also like to wish her happy times coping with that movie she saw. As for rain, we sort of needed it, this year has been quite low for So Cal. I'd like to see green grass in the scorching summer heat.Achkerov kute.

Dear Diary,
I miss Summer. I can't wait to go to the beach and laze around under the sun and splash around in the water. Then drive down the coast with all the windows down so I can smell the ocean breeze. Drink margaritas outside and take long walks with barely any clothes on at 1:00am. I love Summer. It's fun, people are happy to be outside, and the sun makes everyone smile.
So hurry up Summer so we can go to Lake Arrowhead, or Laughlin, or Lake Havisu and jump on a Sea Doo and cool off. I still have to work on the whole water-skiing thing so summer needs to hurry up and get here so I can do that! Plus I have great plans to make a trip to Joshua Tree and spend the night under the stars, and I can't very well do that when it's hailing outside, now can I?
One of the best things about summer is that the daylight stays out longer and even after work I can still go rollerblading on the beach or swimming in my pool. Right now I stuck my toe in and it turned me into a human icicle. Brrrr.
Until then, I will curl up in my blanket and keep the heater running. Winter isn't that bad, especially in Ca, I know. It's just not as great as Summer.
Here, Just for the record, I'm still going to smile

My weekend was great!
We left for our annual scouts winter camp friday night, and came back today.
Saturday night, I had the brilliant idea of organizing a game of soccer on a hockey rink for my cub scouts.
Everyone had a blast...although everybody was falling down all the time. I hope none of their parents reads this site.
And right after the game, three cubs presented my version of Tumanyan's Paregentan to the whole team, and it went by veeeery well. (except the husband was kinda ruining it with his "memory skills"). Now the girl who played the wife was hilaaaaaaaaaarious. I'll have to arrange for you to see her acting one day. I think we're going to establish something permanent here.....and try to get these armenian kids to actually love armenian litterature (tbrotsin aganchnere chlsen) and present it to the parents and the rest of the group on a more regular basis.
So people, get involved in scouting...for the sake of our future generations, and their armenian identity.
And now I'm tired. But Armenia beat Georgia 2-0, so I'm happy.
