Ehhh??? This coming from 1 of the 2 parties soley responsible for several 20+ page threads? Meanwhile, I'll bring up a couple of good pionts that are ignored and give up because the above mentioned 2 are too busy trying to prove who's right on some insignificant point within the thread?

And I don't take offense at the subject. She's absolutely right that most men have ego issues. I'm merely saying take a closer look at women. They share a lot more dominance traits with men then you may think. For example, all too often when with a group of...."friends"...I'll watch one girl hit on her best friend's boy and try to get his attention. The girl has no desire for the boy, but some type of jealous, ego trip kicks in for some reason, and the girl is determined to show her friend that she could take him any time she wants. It's like some kind of female tribal thingy. I watch this happen ALL the time. And then there's the little spat that insues afterwards:

"What are you doing?"
"Huh?"
"Why are you hitting on my boyfriend?"
"I'm not hitting on him!" (<-- despite the obvious display she just put on )
"Yes you are!"
"No I wasn't!"

Aaaaand you get the picture. There has also been plenty of name calling on this board by girls, too. And plenty of them have continously argued their point to death, regardless of how much more sense and evidence the opposing view has. So...I'm not denying the male ego issue (that would just be flat out retarded), I'm just saying women have quite a healthy dose (or...unhealthy, depending on how you look at it) themselves.

My first question regarding this whole spiel is: what the hell is a person with no intellect doing generalizing the whole bunch? That tells me she is trying to jump onto a greater height she cannot reach.

Second question: What is her thesis? It is within our combative nature to dominate that is the male gender. It is the female's role to either support or have her male support her way out elsewhere for not living up to the standards of nature. Otherwise, she is dismissed.

I think women have more of an ego problem than the men, but I still don't think this forum is a good sample for the entire population of men. The fact that the men on this forum even own and operate a computer already tells us that they are in some way more intellectually stimulating when compared to the ones who don't even know what a computer looks like. I have found myself agreeing with all of them at some point in my AC life....which tells me that they are all very intelligent in their own way. This is probably what happens when you put a bunch of smart (ass) people in the same "environment"...they're always going to try to top eachother. It's only natural. It has nothing to do with gender.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I rest my case. I KEED, I KEED!!! By the way, there's people out there without computers, still?? I thought that was as much a given as having...a cell phone now. And I don't know that sitting at a desk all day playing games, downloading porn, and posting on message boards is a sign of intelligence. I highly doubt most people are using them for educational purposes (aside from typing school papers).

Thanks for taking that out of context, mousy. I only mentioned that in my post to explain that I wasn't attacking the concept. My post itself wasn't based on the single statement you selected to point out. You work for the media or something?
