    Since I don't "own" any cities, I'll have to say Madison. There is really no place like it on earth.

    Paris I can live without though I was much impressed with the metro system there.

        One time I flew to Rome with a stop in Paris. It turns out the baggage workers were on strike so my bags spent a few extra days in Paris while I had to attend a conference in Rome wearing my shorts and a tank top, looking like a fool.

        I should have known something was up when the airport lady who took my bags couldn't get it to go through that hole on the conveyer belt. It just didn't occur to me at the time everything was backed up on the belt behind that square hole. She was like "Oh no monseur, don't voghy (worry) ... it is noghmal". Damn French
