It was when I was like 8 to the time I was 14. I don't remember the coach. i remember this one time we filmed this commercial. Fun times. She was a tall girl. Although everyone seemed tall when i was smaller so maybe she was really normal-sized. I still have al those medals we got. With the Armenian-flag colored straps

it's an insult to the game that they're not teaching and coaching the younger divisions fundamentals , team play and mental strategy. then they get older and the play becomes worse.

they need to add criteria in specifics that coachs have to teach, esp in the younger stages

There are exceptions... You have to realize a lot of these coaches are volunteers and they take who they can get. Everyone has fun and makes friends. These kids aren't all there to become future professional ballers.

Hmm... I'm trying to figure out who you could have played for because I played from 9 -16ish. Remember any teammates? Any details about the coach? Appearance, job, age, etc?

yeah i know...but when you see the parents arguing and sometimes breaking into scuffles it takes the fun out when their kids see them in the stands.
THEN they get older, and adapt to that attitude on the court and voila, fights break out between different teams...
I played in 2 tourny's, SF and Nava when i was a senior in high school, and i hated every game cause it wasn't the same as playing varsity at birmingham

Hehe ya the parents are crazy, but we had about 15 people watching my games lol, so you wouldn't have too worry about that.

Not really, anyone that plays gets pretty upset when they lose, especially the championship games on the last day. And the upper A games get pretty intense. Anyway, I quit a year ago but I might come back and play. I played from 8-21 years old. I remember one time half of my team was crying when we lost a championship game when we were about 14 .

On another note the 3 upper A division final games all ended with wins on last second shots. I heard the games were amazing, but I was at work.
