When we were kids and said something like "to the count of three, I will..." we counted "1, 2, 2 1/2, 2 3/4..."

Yeah, Greek Orthodox church was basically a branch of Catholicism. Byzantium was known as the East Roman Empire so they were Catholic until they became Orthodox. They broke away from Vatican on the issue of iconoclasm and other smaller issues. Armenian Gregorian Apostolic church on the other hand was the direct result of preaching of Gregory the Illuminator who converted king Drdat (sp). We used to have many similarities and ties to Vatican, but also lost those ties because of some issues (mainly the issue of divinity/humanity split in Jesus Christ). However, we had our own church from day one.

The Greeks? The Greeks are not even the second or third country to have accepted Christianity as a national faith. I don't know when they have adopted; but they come after the Ethiopians and Rome.
Where have you been the last couple of years when Armenians all over the World celebrated the 1700th anniversary of Christianity in Armenia, as the first Armenian Nation. Even the Pope celebrated it!

Dear Siamantro, first of all, Amenia was not the first, but the second one I think after Greeks and if you want to prove your point, please give me some facts . Second of all, if Armenia was the first to become christian, than I should have not 2%, but 3%, which makes me 100%, so that I dont need your 3% to be 100% lol , thanks though, it was sweet.

I assure you that my first name is not only 100% Armenian, but also 100% Christian - not only Biblical. That makes me
100% + 5% Armenian. (If a Biblical name is worth 2%, then a Christian name is worth at least 5%! )

By the way, since Armenia was the first nation to have accepted Christianity - not the second - then you lose 2% and you're back to 97%!

PS. I'll give you 3% of my 105% Armenianhood, so you'll become harur dogos Hayouhi!
