and recently i have come to realize that happiness is living the truth of who you are, and not who you are expected to be; and there is beauty in truth, be it bitter or sweet, but truth IS beautiful intrinsically because it is what makes us free! it is what enlightens us (even if we have to suffer and struggle for a while), it is what clarifies our minds, it is what allows our hearts to be open to the welfare of all that lives and breathes, it keeps us from judging ourselves and others and accept people as they are; it puts the focus on the individual and makes us lead better lives, become better people and makes us turn away from all things that attempt to hide and twist the truth! once the light shines, shadows lose their spell...
