Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

I heard that adults shouldnt drink too much milk, that milk is only for children who are growing and developing and for those who are sick. I also heard that drinking milk can cause kidney stones. My uncle had a friend who got a kidney stone and the first thing the doctors asked him was whether he drank a lot of milk.

That is obviously untrue propaganda spouted by those who hate milk! As we all know, cows produce milk. How do these lowly bovine know how to make such a delicious and healthy drink? The answer is that cows know a thing or two about taste, my internet forum friend. Your friendly neighborhood cow has been blessed with not one, not two, but four stomachs! These bonus stomachs, coupled with the fact cows really don't have any valid purpose other than to be a source of food and drink, ensure that milk is quite simply the best drink available on the eart and very likely in the entire solar system. However, given that our galaxy is named the Milky Way, it's a pretty safe bet that there is milk elsewhere in space.

All I gotta say is.......LIFE DOES SUCK... but its when you learn to live with it, when you realize that it doesn't matter so much and it's all just a big test.

You just have to not stress yourself over everything and not take life too seriously. It'll eat u up.

If you're worried about your future or major things in life, take the oppurtunities when good things pop up in life, don't be too discouraged when things don't work out (there's always a reason for it), and often times.... leave your life in God's hands and you'll never go wrong.

sorry, but that's the silliest thing i've ever heard! kidney stones are just calcium deposits so the physician probably meant for the guy to lay off of milk once he already had the stones! the only other way he might be getting kidney stones from JUST drinking milk is if he was lacking some enzyme or something somewhere in the biochemical pathway of milk metabolism was not working properly in that individual!

more often people get kidney stones from lack of proper hydration ---and soda, diet soda, coffee, coffee drinks, latte, frapuccinos, mochas, milk, juice..etc. are NOT proper sources of hydration! only water is!!!!

so, especially people with a history or a family history of kidney stones should drink lots and lots of WATER during the day even if it means more frequent trips to the bathroom! taking care of our kidneys is as vital as taking care of our heart and lungs! kidney cells are just like brain cells! once they die, they're gone for good! and by age 40 we will have lost a portion of our kidney cells (nephrons), by age 60 we will lose about 40% of our renal function, and with each decade afterwards we will lose kidney function at a rate of 10% each decade, so that at 100 years of age our kidneys will function at about 20%...yes, life is short, so live it to the fullest and don't forget to hydrate

            • Gev jan..I love it!!!! LOL
What an awesome way to look at life and death. What's wrong with us? Okay, what's wrong with me? LOL I think I take life too seriously sometimes, letting almost everything get to me. I feel let down...and I can't understand why. My thought of the day:

              Live it.

              • We all let things get to us sometimes, which otherwise are essentially non-important to the way we live (the amount of happiness) our lives.. ...

but remember i still feel the is to be in its intended context

                • how about this for a thought?

send all of bush's nieces and nephews, including his daughters to iraq and let him FEEL the pain that thousands of americans are feeling: losing a child!

i have never been this resolute about an election! but the worst thing for this country is if this moron gets reelected! it breaks my heart every day to come home and see the pictures and brief bios of all these young soldiers, rarely over 24 or 25 die away from home and family! he needs to get the heck out of d.c.!! we've had enough, wasting our tax money on that damn war and further fueling the anger of those who already hate america! enough is enough.

I second that! hyebruin, there is no way he will win this election. He didnt even really get elected last time and think about how many more of us hate him now that we have seen him in action. I swear I will take my pasport, get into my car, and drive over the border to Canada if this monkey faced loser gets elected. There is no way!
