Their just random pictures...maybe you sould send them to some herb magazine. I kinda like the car mirror one though. By the way..I'm not artistic, so don't even take critism from me.

        anyway
I like #2 most. I think cuz it's a rare type of plant, and I like how the little circles in the background compliment the object in focus. good stuff. keep it up.
that's odd, #2 is my least favorite for some reason, but thanks for the comment, appreciated!

          1) Nice, but a little fuzzy and I think everyone with a camera almost has that picture.
          2) Not too interesting. Don't put things in the center. It's hard to stop doing that.
          3) This is my favorite. I think it's simple clean, and shows excellent shallow dof. The sharp parts are very sharp. A bit abstract, but I tend towards that a lot myself, so I like it.
4, 5, & 6 dont have enough contrast. There's not a whole lot going on in the photos. They make your eyes wander around (esp 4 and 5) and they don't have anywhere to go and stop. I don't know if that makes sense.

Keep shooting! It takes very nice photos btw.
Are you shooting manual? Manual exposure and focus?

I don't know if these you'll find these helpful, but I look at successful shots of others a lot to get a better understanding of what works and what doesn't. Find out what they did to get the effect they did, etc.

Here are 3 very nice "Nature" shots. They are not mine.

They are nice, in a minimalist, abstract sort of way. (But clean your scanner! Too much dust!!) No 4 and 6 are the best imho - and there is no need for any more contrast, keep them abstract and busy.
2 is a bit yukky with all those out of focus circles - looks like it was taken with a cheap mirror lens, that's what usually gives those "doughnut" circles.
