Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

        BUT
the problem is that the AOC in NY state is 17. that means that people under 17 cant have sex. so how the hell does the school distribute condoms to kids under 17, knowing that sex is illegal. i mean they cant "allow" for crime to happen, right. because if someone doesnt stop a crime, hes guilty too.
i asked my teacher, and hes like yeah ur right, but whatever. i strongly believe that the AOC is officially being broken.
what are ur thoughts on this?
this thing really boggles the legal molecules of my brain.
I have realized a painful pattern in all your posts/threads. Most of them focus on age of consent and sex, basically its legalities. But as far as the topic goes, it only shows that government is stupid, and the whole idea of having government be our daddy and dictate morality is stupid. My high school gave out condoms too, and it is a State run school.

The issue - whether dealing with underage smoking tobacco or marijuana, or sex, or even labor - is fundamentally the same. It is presumed in all cases that the individuals involved should not make decisions for themselves, nevermind at least their family trying to make a decision for their child. Only the government is the voice of "reason" that will be the judge. Whether someone who is "under age" as defined by the State, wants to have sex, or work, or smoke, is a matter of family, religion, tradition, etc., NOT the State. Think of how stupid age of consent laws are because 1) most people do not care for them, since everyone has sex, smokes, and goes to clubs or bars before their legal limit, and 2) once past the legality barrier they will most likely engage in that behavior if they will to.

Moreover, let's not forget that "age of consent" is nothing but an arbitrary State measure. It is not binding and certainly doesn't mean anything. During feudal Europe and in most countries today, most people got married and get married when they were and are in their teens, whether 13 for women or 15, 16 for men. Even before the hideous progressive movement, most children worked. My own father worked at a very young age to support his family. And there are many useless kids who are not education material, who simply do not have a thirst for studying or education, and would much rather labor and work, but because the government does not allow them, they are then forced into crime, drugs, gangs, etc. The State causes more problems than it claims to solve.

It is the same issue with smoking. Why is it that the State decided that you are old enough at 17, to enlist in the military and have your limbs blown off in a country whose name you cannot pronounce correctly, and that you may murder in masses the inhabitants of a particular country, but you cannot puff on a lit paper tube filled with dried, non-hallucinogenic leaves?

well, the fact is that most of my posts are not about Aoc. i had one AOC thread and this one. most of them are probably in romance section. or the general talk and jokes. i am NOT obsessed with AOC. But the guy who was standing next to me and saw the distribution post on the wall, was like wtl! Anyway, this thread is not about whether the AOC's age, its about a legal contradiction in the school system. i hoped i could get some legal imformation and stuff (since many of you probably went to college). anyway, this issue is kinda auseous to me also.

This culture will suck the dirt soon.. we will not be able to judge anyone anymore due to that very same falsified idea of moral relativism... no matter how hard you try to tell yourself something is good, something is right.. there is an absolute truth to it.. and in this case, sex should be outlawed and persued that the lawis carried out for those who are "under age." stop arguing abotu such bullxxxx, because the core problem is the culture, not the law.. Moronic people would rather spend time and resources to knock down the display of the Ten Commandments form government building than save the culture from annihilation of its very own moral soul... if it is not to late allready...
