NBC just put up an interesting statistic.

Only 17% of 18-24 year olds voted. The same amount as 2000. So much for all the effort thrown at getting the youth out to vote.

I knew this was going to happen. I guess that whole 20 million vote thingy didnt work. All that advertisement and the "vote or die" and all that talk especially on MTV. And still nothing.

MTV stopped pushing product for a second and did something useful. Isn't that sweet. The main problem is that most young voters have no problems, no issues, and no perspective. Anyone that needs encouragement to vote probably shouldn't be voting.
