I thought this might be a fun little game to try since you all so clearly enjoy using the word clearly.
Every Monday I'll post a new word of the week and well all try and use that word as often as possible all week long. In context, of course and you can use other forms of the word. So, if it's a verb, you can also use it as a noun or adjective, etc.
What do you guys think?
Word of the week is...........
scrutinize • \SKROO-tuh-nyze\ • verb
*1 : to examine closely and minutely
2 : to make a scrutiny
Example sentence:
Signora Bernasconi scrutinized the painting, said to be by Fra Angelico, and declared it a fake.
