          Vegas for New Years Eve

          I'm going to ring in the new year in Las Vegas. This is the first time I will be doing anything on New Years without my entire family. I am excited!!

                My mom was dead set against letting me go actually and I put up quite a fight. Not because I don't love them and wouldn't love spending time with them. This year was an extreme exception because of the whole Vegas centennial celebration, etc. I doubt I'll be spending new years eve anywhere else but with my parents/family in the future, this year is pretty much the one exception.

                  I don't see the big deal personally. My parents don't mind if I'm not with them either. It's not the end of the world. It happens every year. It's not like you're missing your brother's wedding, which would hopefully be a one time thing.

                    Do you remember my mom?! Oh dude the fact that she let me go is SUCH a big deal. lol. It might be extra fun because she actually stopped guilt-tripping me about going.
